Love Enscape and Lumion both but if you're comparing speed then yeah that's about all that Enscape have over Lumion and other softwares.
Here are a few issues with Enscape:
Glass material, grass material, animating people, cars, objects. Rain? Snow? Enscape is really good at creating good renders and good animations, but if you need great renders and great animations then you're gonna need another software.
Would absolutely disagree with you.
Good and Great renders are subjective, speed is measurable and you can’t argue about this. In a fast paced industry Time:Quality Ratio is everything.

@@MelosAzemiI didn't say anything about time and quality ratio. Like I said, Enscape has the speed, no one is going to argue with you on that point. But if you think Enscape renders are realistic then I guess renders from other softwares would be considered ultra realistic. Put aside Lumion, even Vray lol. Try D5, Twinmotion. They all beat out Enscape when it comes to realistic still renders. Don't even get me started on animation features, Enscape is sooo behind. But again, if you want to do decent, good quality in a short amount of time, Enscape is probably the best. Other than that, it cannot compete with other softwares when it comes to realism and overall quality. No way to increase realism of the grass, reflection is still terrible, even in this video it's still bad, don't even try to render mirrors lol What about animating people? Cars? Nah. Speed, sure. Realism at the very best of its capabilities, is like a 6 or 7.

maybe you should try comparison the same scene. we already knew that interior renders eats a lot of render times than exteriors. you can see the difference once you restarted your pc before rendering. and also it depends on how many effects you applied on lumion why it took a lot of time. I love both renders but D5 is my prime for both of them
I use lumion for exterior renderes and twinmotion for interior, lighting in twinmotion is far better now but I am waiting to try the latest lumion. I am glad these softwares have advanced this much, back when I started, I had to learn Atlantis, v-ray, Maxwell etc and those take time to master, now that I know all of them, I still prefer lumion because clients simply don't have the time sometimes.
D5 is another good option.
Yup i recently had a project where i had to create a 4mins long video walkthrough.....i exported 60fps ultra HD render video in approx. 4and1/2 hrs (intel i7 7th gen/16gb ddr4 ram/6gb nvidia GeForce) but in lumion the same video was showing an estimated time of 23hrs or something, i had to disable a bunch of effects and even sacrifice the output quality to 1star, 720p , and then it took 5hrs to render😱😱it's nowhere near as fast as enscape,... If only enscape had the features like animated people and weathering effects in materials(especially edges)then enscape would wipe the floor with lumion... The render styles like phasing animation styles, color sketch, water color styles would also be a fine add to enscape
As an Architect I approve to this. D5 is crazy when it comes to interior.
Depends on the sample resolution you choose.. I use both lumion and enscape .. so

@@asamoahbraco3180 well for Interiors for me Enscape is better due to its close to real life reflection, lumion handles exterior scenes better depending on what you want to achieve, and lumion is good for handling massive projects

@@pamelamoyana1493 Blender is top of the line, like UE5 and Corona (3dsmax). Super realistic raytracing renders. But you need very good hardware (GPU) and very good knowledge. Blender is hard if you aim photorealistic rendering, but is one of the best.
I had an entertainment animation render for a week straight for a client time ago when I used blender. Today I switched to Redshift for Maya and recently switched to a 3090, that thing it's hell fast and rendered an entire 200 frames animation in 10 minutes... I still gotta try it with VRay for interiors tho 😂

It's the person who is doing that matters, my archviz collegues confuses my escape interior renders with that of D5. I can make scene looks like it's raytraced.

I still can't believe that around April 2017, I download and install enscape beta version. At that time, Enscape is still a newborn, and have a very bad render result. Long time not updating, I was really surprised when I saw many people are using Enscape, and took it on the first place of their render engine. God, it's not even a half decade, Enscape is totally a big deal, especially for architect and interior designer.

Still remember that time I used at school to login to 6 different computer to make realistic render at Lumion
I'm an architecture student and I'm also torn between the RTX 3060 12GB and the RTX 4060 8GB. I prefer the 3060 because of its VRAM, which makes it more future-proof. However, most benchmarks indicate that the 4060 is faster. I'm undecided whether to choose slightly slower rendering times but more future-proofing or faster rendering times with potential difficulties handling larger projects.
Get the RTX 3060 12GB
Rtx 3060 is slow as he'll. Lastgen 3070 got 56% more cores than 3060 and inrealtime vport fps in archviz apps it sucks.
I can manage to do my work in 8gb. I have both 3060 and 3070 and ditched 3060 coz it's slow af.

Это правда... Вчера рендер поставил на ночь. В итоге за 8 часов было пройдено 50 кадров из 250 ( 5 секундный ролик)
Enscape:
Pros: Fast rendering, real-time edit same with model, quality textures, low memory and pc requirements needed
Cons:
No moving objects, limited scenes, no changing weather, can't create detailed terrain
Lumion:
Pros: Realistic Materials, moving objects, can make detail terrain, moving waters, can change weather.
Cons: Takes time, need good pc build specifications, a lot of work to do.
For faster rendering that doesn't require much animations, use enscape.
For detailed rendering and animations, use lumion.

If you got some tricky brain wiring ,U will end up using faking rtx like lighting. Child like escape lighting is long gone. Now my archviz colleges get confused if it's raytraced?

Enscape is newest generatiion same as lumion and twinnotiion. The newest generation rendering software need high/ super VGA.
And you campare between exterior and interiior scene. Interior need more complex calculation value lighting sample etc.

Well they are just a tools wether there are a lot of softwares that better than enscape, As an architect being good in rendering softwares doesn't define you as an architect but in my opinion I still prefer enscape, clients only care about how good the design is, and not how realistic it is.
