    Wow!! What a great place....you really captured the beauty of it with the drone video. I was hoping maybe you 'd bump into a UFO while your drone was up there.....ha ha ha.

      @BakkerfeelingAdventures  3 года назад +2

      Hahaha, you and me both! That would have been cool footage. Still, a great place to fly the drone and enjoy the views. Places like this (remote, abandoned and forgotten) are the best to explore.

      Very much appreciated! It's indeed the perfect spot to fly. The drone has become a great asset for our videos. And even though i managed to crash it, loose it in the jungle and crash landing it in the water, it still works! 😅 Sturdy stuff luckily. 😂Glad you enjoyed the views and thanks for tuning in. 😄

      Absoluut! En daar hebben we er hier zat van. 😄 En dat is dan weer het voordeel als je met de locals mee gaat. In onze opkomende serie doen we alleen maar van dat soort dingen. 😊Het zijn inderdaad de mooiste plekjes om te bezoeken.

    What a rough road to get to the lake but well worth it..loved seeing the amazing drone shots

      It was worth it indeed, although a 4x4 would have been better of course. Still, a great place to fly the drone and enjoy the fauna.

      @BakkerfeelingAdventures  3 года назад +2

      It was indeed, especially with our car. But well worth it though. Did you also visit the nearby abandoned hotel? Besides an eerie but interesting visit, you can actually see both lakes and the town in one panoramic view.

      Very nice to read that, thanks for coming along! It really is a beautiful spot to visit, too bad it's so unknown. Although that also makes that it's so nice & quiet there.

    Drone shots are super cool I have to save up for that. Then where am I going to use it hovering over a tablescape. 😂🤣😅 no really it would be pretty cool. Thanks for sharing.

    • @BakkerfeelingAdventures
      @BakkerfeelingAdventures  3 года назад +2

      Just hovering over a tablescape. 😂 You crack me up. Would be cool footage though, but of course it can do so much more. That drone really has become a great asset towards our videos. It has survived 4 crashed, 2 into the water but never broke down. It's amazing how sturdy it is. I have recently ordered a new one though as back-up since our recent jungle adventure. I'm quite curious for it to arrive and see it in action as it's completely different than this one. 🤩 And believe me, you haven't seen my best drone footage yet... Soon though. 😉

    Love the drone footage, really love the lake. I live in the Adirondack Mountains in Northern New York and there are many lakes here, I always wanted to do a channel about that myself

    • @BakkerfeelingAdventures
      @BakkerfeelingAdventures  3 года назад +2

      Much appreciated, the drone really is a great asset for places like this one. If you have the time to do a second channel on the lakes you mentioned, that would be a great idea. I don't think many people are aware of places like this and even though not everybody is in the position to visit, they can still enjoy watching the views from the videos. Thanks for tuning in, happy to read you enjoyed lake Cote.

    Wow. Another interesting vlog guys 🤗. We got goosebumps when i heared about the alien myth. What if its real? I would love to know more! Hehe! Love the drone shots! Its amazing and the views are breathtaking. Especially the Up up and away part. Love it. And you captured the people who were boating! Im pretty sure we will enjoy paddling in that beautiful lake. I think you should try kayaking there too! That would be awesome. Hehe. Wouldnt mind living in that beautiful place too. We enjoyed watching again. We will check out the nxt vid, we need to know what happened next especially the horror house 😁! Thanks guys for this experience. 🤗

      Hi guys! Thank you very much for stopping by. You can Google search this place yo see the actually photo of the UFO from the 70's. People has also claimed to have seen light beams coming from the lake and a shadow on the water on days with clear skies. Jacque Cousteau also did research here. There are many stories and urban legends on this place. The drone really has become a great asset for us. From above the views are always better, especially in places like this. It's nice to also see people fishing or doing other lake activities. Plenty of place and few people. And for that horror house video, you'll be pleasantly surprised. I really love exploring places like that. The older and spookier, the better. You'll also get to see this lake again... 😉 Make sure to take note of Nuevo Arenal as there really is a lot to see and do there. Especially when you know places like this remote, almost abandoned lake. Perfect for a romantic day out. 😄 Thanks for your comment and nice to read you enjoyed the lake. 🤗👍

    NOt first but close ha. Thanks for showing that sign ...cos I missed it. Have you checked for mosquitoes before you decide to live there? That's somone on the lake...maybe a Kayak. It's so serene.. Indeed the road less travelle has something about it.See that bug!

    • @BakkerfeelingAdventures
      @BakkerfeelingAdventures  3 года назад +3

      Close indeed! 😄In all honesty the reason for showing the sign is because we actually did miss it. 😂 As it's quite old and rotten away it's easy to drive by without noticing. As for mosquitoes, unfortunately they are all over this country. But i also experienced that they go for fresh blood. Bad luck for me as we move around a lot, so everywhere we go i am fresh blood. 😅 But a lot makes up for that here as well. It is so serene indeed, kayaking on the lake or fishing... As for the bug, we still "discover" all sorts of creatures unknown for us. Just amazing and intriguing. Of course we take footage of everything so all will have a place in upcoming flora & fauna videos. 😄 Thanks for tuning in and for your support, we really appreciate you. 😊

    • @LiliansGardens
      @LiliansGardens 3 года назад +1

      @@BakkerfeelingAdventures Oh you missed it too. Very easy to miss. Mosquitoes can ruin one's outing anyday then at night they become a nuisance ringing in your ears ...."I'm still alive". I like to keep an eye out for bugs they're real survivors. Always my pleasure to rummage round your videos.

      It's a perfect spot indeed. And getting help from alien neighbours would only make it the more interesting. If i'd be living there, for sure i'd have my cameras ready at all time just in case one comes by...

    Excited to visit the aliens at the lake!😁👏 what views wow looks like it is worth it to drive there. Take the road less traveled by and it makes all the difference!😉 Here our lakes have alligators and snakes and rats. Lol...Love a lake view though. Hahaha we are coming to help you out. This is nutts. I had started this comment before you said road less traveled by. 😯🤯 lol.

      Haha, funny how you started this comment before i even said it. 😄 That's cool. Like minded people. 😉 Yes, once we settle down we will need help with your expertise or any other excuse to invite you over. 🍹🍸😊 The road was terrible to be honest, especially for our car, but indeed well worth it. It's great to be invited by locals to places you otherwise will never go. And believe me, our upcoming series that i'm currently working and has plenty of that. 😊

    That "sign on your right" at the beginning is rusted out and fallen down over the bus stop, so no one should expect to spot it as in this video. The sheltered Eco Lodge sign is a more reliable signpost, though it's ironic that the lodge is closed while the lake is still there.

    • @BakkerfeelingAdventures
      @BakkerfeelingAdventures  Год назад +1

      Thanks for sharing, without the or a sign it's quite a hard find. It really is too bad about the lodge. We only discovered recently that we only have seen half of the pace as the main building is further down the road. Although we enjoy exploring abandoned places I would have rather seen the place in it's better days. Too bad it has been closed. Such a beautiful location. Thanks for watching.
