Always impressed how right across the continent the mainline infrastructure looks so well maintained and cared for.
the railway in Germany is in good shape, but there is still a lot of room to further improve it😅
The one moddled after American locos is by far the coolest thing I've seen!
Thank you for visiting our beautiful North where I am from, you chose a good city for trains
@3:58 the man the myth the legend that is George.
Really enjoying these videos ❤😊
Maybe try the train simulator based on the german railways, called Zusi, it does have an english manual as well. Even though its still being updated (like most other train sims) it already has over 15,000 routes
i went to Hamburg last year and i enjoyed almost every moment of it (apart from the time when the S-Bahn to my place of accomodation was stuck for half an hour cus of people in the tunnel and i was tired like no tomorrow). i really liked the loads of trains at Hamburg Hbf, but i was disappointed that i didnt see the DSB IC3 trains (only parked up in a siding somewhere). i didnt have time to spot at Hamburg-Harburg (since i had overslept) but one day when i come back i certainly will, its almost like a mecca of freight trains there. i deffo recommend it to anyone who would like to go.
Hi, I have a question. I live in the Czech Republic, where I have been a train driver for 5 years under the Czech Railways. I have a father in Ireland where I fly often and I'm thinking of moving there too and I'm wondering if I could drive a train there too? I don't even know what your exams are, or if it would be easier if you already have a train driver's license. If you know any advice or where in Ireland I should ask, I would appreciate it.
Thanks
What's that diesel at 8:44 ? Never seen something like that before.
I’m not 100% sure. I’ll try and find out

I swear Germany got best railway, everything just about electric
It’s great from an enthusiast point of view, but as a passenger the trains are always late and staff are non existent.
Germany has a loooot of km still non electricfied...
I can see development since the TSW routes came out. Some of them are also in Sweden. A bit weird that they still have right hand drive as the Swedish, like the British, have left hand drive and left hand traffic on rail. (Sweden changed to right hand road traffic in 1967, but not for trains.)
