Can’t have a 64 1/2 mustang fastback. They were not released by ford until the 65 models were released. Can only be a convertible or a coupe for a 64 1/2 and they sure didn’t have the gt lights in the grill.
right; completely agree
Only the coupe and convertible body style can be classified as 64 1/2. All fastbacks were 65s
Absolutely and 100% right.
Didn't all the 64 1/2 cars have the 260 V8?
@@w7wv73 no, there was an option for a U code 170 inline six, F code 260, and D code 289 4v, and very rare 64 1/2 K code HiPo 289
I'm not a fan of red but this beautiful work of ford art is amazing
Beautiful and classic.
Nice car but it’s not a 64 1/2. Besides the 2+2 issue, it’s a nice restoration but a mishmash in some areas. The instrument cluster is ‘66, the door panels are “Pony interior” but the seats aren’t, neither is the steering wheel.
Beautiful car, absolutely gorgeous!
Like the other two comments, it’s a 65. Also, if it was a 64 (Ford never called them 64 1/2, that was done by the community) it would have a 260 v8 and not a 289.
Ford did offer the 289 for the 641/2.
I agree, 260 motor
I have to agree with everybody else it didn't have a Fast back until 65
65
I think its a 66 or they changed the instrument cluster, as only GTs had that cluster in 65
I have one of the first Ford Mustangs , any of you guys interested ? Build 3 April 1964 .
There are no 1964 1/2 Fastbacks!
1964 1/2 Mustangs are only cars produced from March to July 1964. Only Coupes and Convertibles can be identified as 1964 1/2 cars.
The Fastback version came later in the year.
I also noticed the car has an alternator on it - ONLY the. 1964 1/2. models had generators on them . Sorry about that !!!
Not the front grill of a 64 1/2 , but still nice.
Wow beautiful car
Only the pre August cars are the 64 1/2s. There are also no 64 1/2 fastbacks as they only started the fastbacks after august.
i just found out that in New zealand there is the 3th oldest Mustang . Now i got that vin number and mine is before that vin number . Mine Mustang is Build on 3 April 1964 , do you want to buy him ?

You won't find one of those new fangled 'leccy cars touching your soul like real petrol fueled cars.
Wow.......😮
Besides being a 2+2 it has an alternator, 1965 production NOT 1964 1/2. This stuff is so easy to look up…in a BOOK!
There are no such thing as a 1964 1/2 fastback. 1964 1/2 cars was built before June/July 1964
The first fastback was introduced in August 1964
Que belleza
Don’t listen to this channel on mustangs they don’t know jack. Or trying to scam. Saw another vid where they have a c code & tell everyone it’s a k code
Hi Jared , The K code is a real one , but please take the time to read the full article , thank you .
Very nice car only thing wrong with it its not mine nice
no 64.5 fastback, ford came out with the fastback in mid year, plus all 64.5 mustangs had generators not alternators, and color keyed lock knobs not chrome like this car has. nice try.
Not a 64 1/2, never happened for a fastback, anyone who knows anything about Mustangs knows this fact.
Get rid of those wheels! Replace with American Racing T.T.O’s
64?😂
