- The anticipated and your highly requested China invades Taiwan is here. This hypothetical Chinese invasion may or may not happen in the future, so I made this epic beach landing assault simulation, using a realistic map, and units, from Abrams tank, helicopters to amphibious assault vehicles. Whether Taiwan defense against China will hold off, nobody knows.

So you start an amphibious invasion without using fighters-bombers (land and carrier) pummeling defense installation (antiair, antiship, artillery, airbase, radar) , electricity and water facilities first?
Could've also feinted an attack there and then launched a bigger assault on a weaker point.

The animation is quite impressive, well done. However, invading Taiwan won’t be as easy as how the film shows in reality. Taiwan’s defense force won’t be so easy to take down. Also since the chinese need to land the beach, they must cross the ocean, I don’t think Taiwanese will just seat and letting those chinese cross the ocean.
It's just a few km... not an ocean
China would first deploy they're air and naval assets to the sea. Halfway there China would most likely bomb Taiwanese bases, AFB's, naval bases, and AA sites from the mainland, submarines, and bombers.

The Chinese will suppress the Taiwan defences with long range rocket artillery, cruise and ballistic missiles, and massive drone and air strikes. They won't land a soldier on Taiwanese soil until these strikes have achieved their objectives. Any attempt to help Taiwan from outside forces will be suppressed with D21C and D26 long-range anti-ship ballistic missiles as well as land and air-launched hypersonic missiles that are undetectable and unstoppable (according to the Pentagon). Taiwan would be effectively blockaded and bombarded and would probably surrender without an invasion. If the Chinese did decide to land forces it would be accomplished by massive forces and overwhelming fire support from land, sea and air. The Taiwanese navy is no match for China's, which is the largest in the world, with some of the most advanced vessels and could do very little to stop a seaborne/airborne assualt.

The video does not show Taiwan's air defence capabilities in anti-landing. The Taiwanese army has AH-64 Apache, AH-1 SuperCobra, FIM-92 Stinger missile, AN/TWQ-1 Avenger missile system, and XTR-101/102 automatic close-defence remote weapon system to defend helicopters or drones.
At the same time, the Taiwanese army has many multiple-launch rockets on the shore of Taiwan that can bombard the Chinese landing troops in a wide range. If fighter jets were well hidden in cave bases from the Chinese missile strike attack, the air force would come to support the army bombing the Chinese landing troops and navy.
The Taiwanese Armed Forces use these weapons in every anti-landing drill.

Whoever designed this seems unaware of basics of the type of defence Taiwan has perfected. Eventually the assumption is not a pip squeak from the hundreds of layered, shore missile batteries which have all sea lanes bracketed and zeroed in and the entire air space above Taiwan zoned. Landing an amphibious invasion fleet will result in 60% casualties and those than do land will have to contend with pre zoned machine gun lanes, mined. Pre-targeted artillery just waiting from protected pens. Not WW2 style open ditches.
The 40% that might thus escape the slaughter in the strait will face another 50-60% casualties in human and material assets committed.
This is not happening unless China achieves total air and sea dominance first.
Each of those dumb sorties by PLAF which penetrated Taiwanese air space were allowed in and all were painted and acquired by Taiwanese defence net.
It's not that Taiwan is amazing or especially good at this or has been prepped to the gills by the vastly experienced USMC.
Any half decent island nation of reasonable heft and size can mount such a defence with modern weapons its forces are well trained to handle.
This type of suicidal sea wave assaults are simply not feasible today without identifying and neutralising 1st and 2nd tier enemy assets first.
Chinese PLAF and their noisy PLAN subs simply do not yet have the capability even if they have the numbers.

Is it me or is it similar to D-Day, except there are attack helicopters instead of paratrooper planes, tanks in the water and Taiwanese tanks used as artillery, and more modern-ish boats instead of Higgins for the Allies, and no bunkers for the Taiwanese machine gunners?! 😂😂

As a game simulations, it's pretty good. But I hope next time, the game can start as all the other WWII wars as the whole landscape artilary bombing. Cuz per Chinese intelligence report, the beach bombing stragedy is planned per meters. Like how many rounds of bombing per meters on the beach, it's hardly to believe and living things or equipment can survie under this kind of attach.

I TRULY HOPE amphibious landings aren't conducted the same way as in WWII. I gotta believe tactics have advanced past landing a bunch of marines only to watch them get shredded by machine gun fire and grenades. But I'll tell you I still love your content. And when we actually go to losses, it's hilariously lopsided in favor of mother Russia even though they're the ones outnumbered currently, and if they can inflict such heavy losses on the Ukies now with only a fraction of their power, they're going to absolutely roflestomp the Ukies even harder once they finish partial mobilization of their reserves while Ukraine is literally on likes its seventh wave of mobilization. It's literally so bad for the Ukies that they've repeatedly considered conscripting women. WOMEN! The only creatures weaker they could have called up literally would've been children.
As for China, it's doubtful Ukraine changed any of their plans since amphibious operations are a different beast in no way comparable to large land warfare like what's going on in Ukraine and notoriously difficult even for primarily air-space powers like the US to pull off successfully and invasion of Taiwan has always been a last resort for the PRC because they're playing a long game wherein Taiwan will inevitably choose to reintegrate with China and thus rule out any needs for an invasion. A long game that the Chinese figure correctly they're going to win if they just have the patience the West lacks, which is why the US constantly puts out puff pieces telling everyone they're going to invade every February and October.

The only science-fiction I've read from this war have been the Ghost of Kiev, the Snake Island Garrison, and the Russians having mobile crematoriums. All lies perpetuated by the Kiev (Not 'Kyiv' KIEV by the way) regime and its Western puppet masters. All lies you, a good little lemming of the empire of lies, would gladly have other lemmings believe. Lies made in a desperate attempt by the Kiev regime to cling to power and distract from the fact that their cult of infantry tactics, a very NATO cult, have been horribly unsuccessful against Russia's superior firepower doctrine even considering the Ukraine is fighting with everything it has and the Russians have sent but a fraction of their total capability to the Ukraine.
Every time, EVERY TIME, the Ukies go up against Russian regulars--not Donbass militias on their lonesome or glorified Swat Teams like in Kharkov (and less, KHARKOV, not Kharkiv) they get slaughtered like the hapless peasants they've been shelling in the Donbass for years for inches of land at tremendously lopsided costs for them and hilariously little cost for the Russians. The only reason the map has changed significantly in the north is LITERALLY because Russian regulars weren't there. Even if war was primarily about territorial gains and not crushing the opponent's military and then worrying about territory (ask the German fathers of the Azov battalion how looking to close to the map went for them in WW2), your subject was about military devastation, not territorial gain, and by that metric, Ukraine is the one who's military has been thoroughly torn apart. In the opening of the war Russia demolished their air force and navy and then wiped away so much equipment, which Ukraine had a lot of compared to most NATO countries before Russia blew that away, that they had to whine and cry to the west for more stuff. Now the attrition rates are so bad that the West cannot afford to send any more of their significant stockpiles or run the risk of running critically low themselves.
Even pro-western sources agree with me on the subject of Ukrainian losses versus Russian losses.

Well the game is called men of war assault squad 2 (or men of war as2) but I do not know the mod or anims sadly.

i don't know if people understand this about amphibious landings... you should only land the troops if the beach defenses are destroyed... if the beach defenses are intact it would make no sense to land troops like you see in WW2... really they only landed because they assumed the beach fortifications were destroyed. under normal circumstances naval gunfire, aerial bombardment, and missile strikes if they didn't all miss their targets would wipe out the defending forces allowing the assault troops to land to advance.
