CHAUVET DJ FXpar 9 Review by Karma Event Lighting

We had the chance to review the new FXPar 9 from CHAUVET DJ. The IRC remote makes it a great light for mobile DJs and the larger DMX profiles are perfect for advanced event production. We even jump into Chauvet ShowXpress a bit to show you some cool ways to control the FXpar 9. You can also see some real life footage from a recent event we did for the American Cancer Society Gala down in Tucson. Overall, a versatile light with a lot of punch and is visually entertaining. wow that's nice. thanx for the video. what do you think of the FxPar 3's? Do you think they can light up a dance floor like these 2?

Hi George, glad you like the video! I haven't used the FxPar 3's yet but from what I've seen, they are bright as well. They definitely won't be as bright as the FXpar9 because it's 6 diodes less. but I'm sure they'll light up most small to medium sized dance floors. I think the FXpar3 is a good mix of wash light and cool led animation fx. I'm waiting on some to test soon and can let you know. Either light is really good. just depends on your types and size of events!

Hey Jose, It's an Odyssey LTP2 light stand but with a shortened t-bar. i think was originally a side bar on-stage.com/products/view/10668#parts

That is the Odyssey LPT1 I think but we used a shorter cross bar.

not really sure. it's just a short bar we've had over the years that we use for smaller top bar. i think it was originally a side bar for a double decker light stand. i would actually like to find more :) i'll post a link if i find it.
