@@sunnystream8476 yeah, I realized after watching a couple of her videos that she mostly works in some variation of a granny stitch. I like textured work that is a little bit more intricate, which may involve a combination of slip stitches / sc / doubles / trebles (or variations of them) altogether in a specific order on the same row. Sometimes the work requires keeping count to some degree, and the stitches have the hook going into weird spaces eg a particular stitch 1 or 2 rows down. For that reason crocheting without looking may not be something I will ever do in life, and I made peace with that. I still hope to improve my speed over time though, which I guess will come naturally with more practice.
Dude you crochet like my grandma and I mean that in the best way possible. She used to be able to crochet a granny square start to finish and never take her eyes off the tv. And she crocheted as fast as you too. It was amazing to watch. I’m subscribing right now because she passed last year and I thought I’d never get to see crocheting like that again but watching you crochet somehow makes me feel closer to her, so thank you ❤️

These sweaters this girl is doing are definitely not just one line after another.i could crochet a blanket in a few years, ha ha. But these amazing sweaters this girl is making are amazing to me. Such a young girl, so fast. Just as fast as those women were all sitting around making granny squares who had been crocheting for 50 years or more. She amazes me so much! Thank you for sharing your Grandma's memory. It made me think back to my crocheting memories. So fasinating that crocheting is just as popular as it ever was. I wish I knew how to read those patterns...
I haven’t tried the puzzle but I love their 100% cotton yarn! I use it for wash cloths and soap holders and it works BEAUTIFULLY! Their acrylic is also one of the softer acrylic yarns, very nice. I just picked up some of their plush and chenille yarn also. I have some chunky black yarn I didn’t realize was their that I’m going to make an ankle-length vest out of, it works up so nice. It’s my favorite yarn for the price and quality.

I'm currently crocheting hexagons for a lap rug and they have 6 equal sides. Yours is a cardigan or jacket using simple lines and squares and the effects are lovely.

Its quite simple when doing a granny square and once you get confident with that you can do most stitches without looking

Premier yarns have some of my favorite yarns. Especially the Puzzle. Soft, thick, but not too heavy
