Hello and welcome to another DADverageGamer guide, this time for Loop Hero. I hope you find it useful!

Nice video! I'm glad I found it. You may want to consider running your commentary audio through a "de-esser", which is an audio filter that reduces the volume of plosive sounds (like P's and S's).

Hey, @Arthur Nix! I’m by no means an audio expert so I appreciate the feedback. Any recommendations on options? I use Davinci Resolve Studio edition and if something could slide into that workflow, I’d consider it. :)

@@dadveragegamer8723 Hey, just saw this. My experience is in audio engineering, not video, so I'm not familiar with the software. But if you're willing to run your audio through any Digital Audio Workspace, they typically will come with a stock de-esser plugin that works just fine. If all that sounds like a lot, maybe there's an audio compression tool in your software that will bring down the peaks a bit. Good luck!

And then there's always buying a pop-guard or keeping your face a bit further from the mic :) easiest options for sure

@Arthur There is a de-esser built into Davinci Resolve that I very briefly looked into. I have a pop filter on my mic as well as a compressor in OBS, the software I use for recording/streaming. The hard part is I'm sure there are things to tweak (for video as well) but to my untrained ear, it's really hard to know when it sounds "better" vs just "different". I wouldn't know if any settings or processes I change actually make things better. I watched a de-esser tutorial video and I barely heard any difference. Was there any in the particular one I watched? Do my headphones have the clarity to produce the difference? Do I blindly take their settings for it? It's like the eye doctor all over again: "one.....or two. one......or two...." :) I appreciate the info, sincerely, but I'm not sure how to proceed. I almost need to sit with someone who knows this stuff to understand it at the level I'd like.

Great Video!!! I was just wondering if the Chrono Crystals next to the Grove makes it produce more loot or....? 🤔
