What I love about Kreator is that they didn't lose that thrash metal edge in their music. They're still cranking it like it's the early 1980s.
They most definitely are thrashing as well as they did in the 80s!!!
Except for that Gothic album they did

Ventor’s drumming really does drive the song forward, giving it that relentless energy. His technique and power definitely add a lot to the overall sound.
I know for Kreator since 87. and I still listen ...they are unique!
Is no-one going to mention how original the drum fill at 1:36 - 1:38 is? Playing the rims of the drums in a thrash metal song is both funny and awesome at the same time. Brilliant!

I've enjoyed the maturation and growth of Kreator throughout the years. Sure, they've embraced the melodic, but they have carefully weaved that into that classic Kreator rip your face off sound, and it is a Pleasure to (Kill) listen to.

im 24 and as far as i know i was a stubborn fan of only 3-5 bands, no other band truly convinced me. I went to a show with At The Gates, LoG and Kreator. I was going for ATG, and LoG was a fun additional, and didn't even care about Kreator at all. My dad however was going full on for Kreator and i was like yeah whatever lets see it since we are there anyway... Oh boy did i miss out on this band. They had the best performance of that day, and gained a fan since! this band is so good! one of the best!
