Reality check: Our country will not come to an end because of the next Supreme Court selection! IMHO: God sees no color in us and neither should we identify ourselves with such petty recognition. It bothers me when so many forms and applications ask for my race identity. Why does anybody even care about that? That question sounds racist to me! I am both humbled and proud of the fact that God chose me to be created in His image, and I rejoice in the fact that He did the same for you! I really don't see the point in color coordinating His most perfect creation. On the topic of White Privilege: If being born a white person is considered (by some people) an unjust privilege built into the fabric of our Constitution, how amazingly lucky these two supposedly disadvantaged woman must be to become so rich and famous in the midst of an unjust system designed to prevent them from achieving their goal. Or maybe they weren't so lucky. Maybe the "System", along with hard work, made it all happen! Let's be honest, if these same two woman lived the same life in any other country, and did the same things to get where they are today, they would most likely be like most of us, ordinary. (On second thought, maybe Jennifer would have made it anywhere, but you get the point.) The SYSTEM obviously worked for Jennifer and Michelle. Don't believe it doesn't work for you! The U.S. Constitution is a well thought out system of laws that incorporates pathways to improve itself through the will of the people for which it governs. In no way was this system founded upon racism. It is because of this system that Michelle became a First Lady. I rejoice in the fact that our laws did not hinder Michelle and her husband from attaining that prize! People come to America because it is governed by a system of laws that protects their God given rights to pursue peace, prosperity, and defend themselves from tyranny. Let's continue to make necessary changes through this beautiful system. People who seek to destroy this system, seek to destroy our path to freedom and peace!
