I always say parents, teachers, and counselors need to hear Citizen Soldier and read these lyrics. Maybe it will take away the blinders that deny this could be your friend or child.
I get what you're saying, but not everyone will agree. I've shown this group to a few people, and they took it the wrong way. They took it as this group is normalizing suicide, hurting others, etc. But I agree, it's okay to not be okay. People need to reach out more, not turn them away/ignore them for their issues.
How about we stop long enough? Make some eye contact. ‘Hey, truly? I ask you because sometimes I’m not so I like to check on others’. People need to feel safe to speak the truth. Keep your radar up, a quick okay with a look away, now what’s up? We should all want to know! I love the ending, this is worldwide folks. Talk about a pandemic. Do not give up. Please. ❤evenvmy 2 daughters aged 26 and 31 now always feel it when they are with me , earlier I told you my physical health is not okee , not about that on this channel you channel they are often there, happy and know everything I have it through did a diary and read it 2 when they asked I gave them my diary, 2 or 4 weeks later they all came and asked all sorts of questions they didn't understand etc. Now they know everything and have also found the peace that I sometimes lose, but they understand. Understanding for each other is very important brings ke closer especially now that the youngest daughter also has a husband from the army. laterrrr more regards Jan
