Thanks for this, I am new at it and throwing everything against the wall to see what sticks. This helped a lot, ty.

Really good job breaking down their method for videos!

I'm fairly new to making videos and anything that explains the inside of creating a video that converts its very useful to me. Thank you so very much for putting this together and taking the time to explain every detail.

Loved the breakdown and makes total sense!
One thing that concerned me is that the disclosure doesn’t seem to be ftc compliant. It’s supposed to be placed where it’s “hard to miss” . Not being able to see it unless it’s full screen doesn’t fit that.
The FTC also says that “viewers are more likely to notice disclosures made in both audio and video” so seems WTI is not following that as well.
Always better to do audio disclosure as well and make it actually easy to see.

That's a good point and I agree with you there!

They use the words "love" "perfect" and "awesome" a lot in the WTI videos.

The whole WTI thing makes no sense...either the influencers are getting ripped off or the company itself isn't really making much money. It's hard to believe you can split 2% or 3% and still be effective. I'm guessing the content creators are getting hosed.

I think I heard somewhere that the influencers get a flat fee of $150 per video, but I could be wrong. On their website they were charging brands $299 per video, but I recently checked and their pricing has changed. I don't think they split commissions with the influencers. They get a flat fee per video, so if they pay an influencer $150 per video and that video makes them $1000, they win big time! But some videos will probably not make them any money, so in the end it probably balances out

This was the example I asked about in the live stream you we’re on today. I didn’t think buying reviews would be allowed. Maybe because the say “ Hi xxx from WTI “ at the start makes it ok

Very good question, I was wondering that myself.

Great video! How long have you been in the influencer program? I just posted my first 3 video for review.
Have you started making videos more along this formula?
How many videos total have you posted?

Thanks, glad you like it! I've been in the program since Nov 2022. I haven't followed their formula because all of my videos are faceless, but I did implement more of using "You" throughout my videos

they have been a thorn in the side of use Influencers for a long time. usually flooding the slot with like 4 different videos for the same product. They don't verbally say products were gifted. Def skating the line for a long time. What I want to know is how they actually do it? How do they find all these people, how do they pay them, how much do they pay them, what is their actual business model. etc. apparently these are all people that either don't know about the influencer program or can't get in. I guess making a few bucks on the side is good for them. I hear WTI might pay up to $100 per video? this is what I would like to know. I would love to scale my business but doesn't make sense much. I tried offering to pay others to make videos for me of their stuff and most never do. even though they always complain about not having money :-O

I thought the only influencer who could make the videos was the one who applied for the program?

    • @mindfullydrey
      @mindfullydrey  6 месяцев назад +1

no, you can post videos from other people to your account, as long as you have their permission and as long as they are creating the content specifically for your account. You couldn't take other people's videos off RUclips and post them to your account, for example, but you can have a friend/family member record videos specifically for your storefront

yes! more on the "inspired by" rather than the "copy what they do" side!
