We can even get some chickens if we need to. I have no debts and have a six figure retirement as does my wife. We may feel some pain, but we will survive. I learned the Republican’s agenda of increasing wealth disparity over forty years ago when Reagan was President and have fought it in vain for these intervening years. What does every CEO do when taking over a company? Shed employee expenses.
Agree. We have made it very clear to them and others that we have not lost friends and family over politics, we have lost them over MORALS and VALUES. Ps: TYSM for this video. We are politically active and educated and will continue to fight.
I'm live in Canada, so I'm slightly luckier to not have to support MAGA businesses. But I agree that those who voted this in should face the consequences of their actions. The rest of us will support one another. (Although I also believe those who consciously chose not to vote can *also* suffer the consequences of their inactions. Not all of them. But many of them.)
In both Canada and Australia the right has been emboldened by the Republican win in the US, so now politically there’s work to do- I was seeing on social media some clown in Canada trying to take up Trump’s border issues crap and use it as a talking point to fuel right wing stuff- pity they can’t be as fueled by the thousands of missing Indigenous women and girls or the trafficking in Indigenous children via ‘children’s services’, or the environmental issues…
In Canada, we seem ready to vote in the same kind of "Right" wing grifters in the next federal election (and it's been a long-term persisting trend in provincial elections).
My mom raised me like that. I didn’t have a curfew or a bedtime or anything, but I was expected to get up, get my lunch, and get to school on time. I never tried it, but I think if I hadn’t, my mom would have made me explain to the teachers and apologize. I also did my own laundry and stuff. It’s good for kids.
It was good for you. I guess Mom knew her kid. It will not work for every kid. Hope they have the mother who fits them or are you going to judge them because they were not you or your Mom. I hope not.
At least until they realize how $$$$ everything costs... 🙄 Of course, the traitorous tangerine toddler will somehow blame everything on Biden and/or the dems. 😬
The place I work is full of Trumpers. The crazy thing is it’s a union job! I come in and do my job and go home. I take my lunch outside the scheduled lunch period because I don’t want to associate (and because I can). The number of people who try to small talk chat with me is ridiculous. Like sir, you have a whole ass Trump 2024 on your toolbox… why are you trying to chat up a BLACK, FEMALE, Navy VETERAN… after you voted the way you did? I’ve mastered the deadpan, bored look that has a lot of them scurrying away. I’ve been asked, right out if I’m angry because I take my lunches alone. I told the last person that I’m dealing with a lot because I may be losing g my healthcare and disabled veterans benefits come January 20th… that’s enough to shut them up.
I don't think so. Talking to a woman at a job, about anything that isn't related to the job and without witnesses, has become a big NO. It's not political, they're just trying to keep their job.
We are all gonna suffer. As a disabled veteran and a lesbian, I know the orange menace’s will wreak havoc on my life. I will survive and help who I can -but not MAGAts.
Sadly, even if they feel the consequences of their actions, most of them won't learn a thing. They will refuse to connect the dots and will blame everyone but their Dear Leader, and they will continue to call everyone a liar who tries to tell them the truth. So, the sad outlook is that everyone will have to suffer the consequences of their stupidity, only for them to learn nothing. Not a great deal.
I worked at a factory making those American-made parts. People operating the machines are making $15-$20/hour. The customers are the billionaires you see on the news every day. Overnight, the cost of everything we buy went up 25%, but American-made silicon chips, aluminum, copper, and plastic simply don't exist, or are *much* more than 25% more costly. An $8 diode from Mexico might be $18 from Texas. And it costs thousands to onboard and vet an AS9100 supplier so companies don't "shop around." The customers are billionaires, remember. They lock in contract pricing. So the instant 25% bump in cost was absorbed out of the next year's raises. And by laying off some people. Those tariffs are gonna suck this time, because last time we all had money in the bank.
I haven't figured out how to navigate those issues of business owners who voted for trump. I've dropped most of my friends who voted for him and I feel like I dropped a bunch of baggage. Always trying to explain things and then they vote for trump. I don't have to listen to the crazy shit anymore. Still not sure how to do business with people who voted trump. I really don't want to.
@@scottblah2147 Same scenario - quietly trying to describe the dangers to him and the people he loves, and then he doesn’t vote at all, then tells us WE’RE the ones overreacting. As I wrote for a class poem: “Dear Diary: today I lost a friend.”
You can give the Trumpers a participation ribbon. Btw Doug Ford from Ontario is now saying he might turn off the electricity taps to the US. Hoo boy, its probably posturing but what if its not? When you cause harm to other peoples, when you joke about annexing a massive country like Canada, there may be irreparable consequences (well for 4 years at least)
Someone should start a nonprofit that financially helps those that didn’t vote for the Cheeto, so that they can get through the next 4 years. Make it a mutually beneficial society.
In addition to what you said about threats to jobs & union conditions, Republicans also want to raise retirement age and lower full-time employment age. Their Great Wall of China between USA and Mexico would dissolve what remains of working class influence, since the working class would be literally confined to a labor prison.
My question is: how can I support local if I’m concerned with saving money? For example: I know Walmart isn’t the best choice to support over my local grocery store, but Walmart makes everything so much cheaper.

My bestie found herself in a similar situation where she lived so she started her own buying co-op; she now has a good income that also provides the bulk of her non perishable food. Is starting a garden a possibility? Does anyone local have chickens or is there space for a community garden? It’s amazing how quickly these things can come together.

Yeah, I’m in a red state. We’re using the Goods Unite Us app to see which way businesses lean but there’s not ONE hardware store that leans left. The best we can get is a 50ish split. Only two of five grocers lean left. What we’re doing is acknowledging reality. We’re limiting purchases we have to make at those red stores and spending more at the blue stores. Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet but we’re exploring every option first. On a brighter note, a new family owned Hispanic grocery just opened their second location in my suburb so I’m excited to patronize them. Well, kinda. Let’s hope they didn’t fall for the 🍊lies. I will find out, lol. Good luck everyone, it’s gonna be bumpy. Resist!
Correct. Not only can’t MAGA be rescued, they SHOULDN’T be rescued. For democracy to work, voters have to suffer the full consequences of their poor choices.
I’m in AL and Indivisible and we’re trying to figure out the balance between these approaches. I’ve been advocating for trying to reach parents and gain their help on the important issues regardless of their political views. There are going to be thousands, maybe tens of thousands, of kids with IEPs and Trump voting parents that will suffer from the dismantling of the Department of Education. While I would like to be all “you get what you vote for” with these parents, I’m hoping we can enlist them in fighting against Trump at least on this one issue. Conservatives in general have a real hard time with empathy until a situation affects them personally. There about to be a whole bunch of parents entering the find out state of consequences.

I live in New Mexico no which is very blue which is great. However, the Trump administration is so dumb and racist they will see Mexico in our state's name and probably try to deport the whole damn state!
Indiana here. I feel the same way. I can take the old Republican party. But this new maga conspiracy laden party is just crap.
I can relate.
My immediate reaction after the election was to move out of the country. However, I believe I need to stay and work with others to make sure that our democracy is safe and inclusive values come back. I have joined an Indivisible group that has good ideas for doing this.
So funny you brought up shop local. I literally got off the phone with a local antique shop that is Trumper owned. I knew it going into the conversation, but was looking to sell some items. I was being polite as to hopefully get rid of my items, and the lady was so incredibly rude to me. Needless to say, I will not be selling to or buying from that establishment.
Love “thoughts and tariff” !! 😮
Really appreciate this video.
We're at a point where people must suffer before they can wake up from the delusion that they've been subjected to for almost a decade.
Many of them will never wake up. I remember the Tea Party and the Obama years...the racist morons have simply switched to believing even worse and stupider conspiracy theories...and they'll go on believing that somehow their Orange Toad saviour was harmed, undermined and conspired against, so he couldn't do all those wonderful things he promised them.
Wait until MAGA realizes that Trump has nothing to do with the price of eggs.
Or that he is NOT the great setter of Gasoline or Diesel Fuel Costs. By the way upcoming months ahead Good time to invest in Oil Futures with the Oil Prices soaring upwards.
Im a 92% er and im not rescuing ANYONE! I did my part when i voted for our country and Drmocracy. Ill suffer, maybe more than some because Im in the rightwing enemy crosshaurs . But ill do my best and I ain't gonna do *****
That’s exactly the attitude that helped him win.
We should call the tariffs what they basically are: the Trump sales tax.
Absolutely! Trump does not understand understand how government works, he’s ignorant. He didn’t know that a terrorist is attack on importers who pass it on to the American people..
I have no sympathy for MAGAs. He told us what he was going to do & they didn't listen. Not my fault. I will hunker down & survive as best I can & hope I survive to come out the other side. I grew up poor & never lived an extravagant lifestyle so I think I'll be fine as long as my health stays good. Hope my kids didn't intend to inherit anything from us because we probably won't have much left when we die as long as Republicans are in power.
Agree I am retired upper middle class yes it will hurt if we lose Social Security and Medicare, but I grew up very frugal. I know how to garden most of our own produce. We have our own fruit trees. We can even get some chickens if we need to. I have no debts and have a six figure retirement as does my wife. We may feel some pain, but we will survive. I learned the Republican’s agenda of increasing wealth disparity over forty years ago when Reagan was President and have fought it in vain for these intervening years. America has just gotten dumber and more gullible. Republicans and the rich want everyone else to be living at the margin to maximize their own wealth. What does every CEO do when taking over a company? Shed employee expenses.
Agree. My wife and I have built up a considerable nest egg through years of hard work and prudent risk-taking, and have decided to move abroad to enjoy a better lifestyle and greater political and social stability. We have already scouted several potential locations, narrowed them down, and will depart in 2026.
You are like poor Black people who know how to make it with nothing. Be blessed.
@@roberthaworth8991 We’re leaving also, at least for now. Amerikkka is a nation in decline and I rather not live among the criminal broke bigots of maga while their enabler is in charge for their daily dose of chaos and gas lighting. I just don’t see things changing with the racism and xenophobia being repeated daily, segment after segment, by fox news with the country living in two timelines as a result. Life is too short for this.
@@conniegrant939 Thank you. I loved growing up on the farm & didn't know we were poor until I went to school. Never let it bother me because we were well loved, my clothes were always clean & we had plenty of food. Learned to weed the garden & help feed the livestock early on.
There's 14 billionaires on his pick for his cabinet right now he doesn't care a bit about us regular people. I tried to educate my neighbors but they thought I was lying or something. I told him don't cry to me when you find out the truth.
America. The first time a country won the Darwin award.
He's already threatening other countries!! What could go wrong!
Not any countries. He is picking against the USA neighbors and biggest trading partners.
@@rkbelmont1138 If you were the head of a global superpower and you managed to get an agent into the government of your largest rival as the head of state, what would be the most effective way to destroy them without risking war?
How dare Trump threaten our allies in Hamas!
Walt Kelly famously said " we have met the enemy and he is us ".
It's not like we didn't try to tell them.
We literally had to cut off 2 of our 3 adult (step) children. No communication, no Thanksgiving, no Christmas. Now thy are crying. Too bad. They just found out, you literally reap what you sow. We tried to talk to them before the election and they took it as a personal affront on their privacy. We are retired and on a budget and depend on SS and Medicare . My husband (72) is a Navy veteran and 40 years a teamster. I stepped in when they were children, because their narcissistic mother and stepfather abused them. We were in court more times than I can count to protect them. We immediately changed our will and trust. Can’t wait to send them our utility bills and say Merry f-ing Christmas! This is what you voted for. We are still in shock and suffering both physically and mentally, but stand united . We have made it very clear to them and others that we have not lost friends and family over politics, we have lost them over MORALS and VALUES.
Ps: TYSM for this video. We are politically active and educated and will continue to fight.
This is tragic. I am so sad to hear stories about relationships being destroyed over whom someone voted for. I sure hope your family can recover.
@ TY. We will never be the same again.
@ I know… :( I’m fortunate to be living in Manitoba, at least for now…gonna be hunkering down and making the best supportive community I can.

HELP DISABLED PEOPLE IN THE US AS YOUR COUNTRY WONT LET US IN.
I hope not.
I soooo appreciate the honesty. Keep being you. 💙
Feel like I have found my tribe, thank you.❤
Problem is they want this type of world. So I only think a small few will truly regret their vote. Most are happy with chaos.
@@Michaelfatman-xo7gv huh? The coworkers are the ones trying to chat her up, not the opposite.
Thoughts, Tarriffs, and Consequences.
Deport, deport and deport!
God Bless President Trump!!!
3:52, it's not disparate political views. it's divergent morality views.
Literally the same thing
We are all gonna suffer. As a disabled veteran and a lesbian, I know the orange menace’s will wreak havoc on my life.
I will survive and help who I can -but not MAGAts.
I have concepts of sympathy.
I use the Goods Unite Us app to find out what online and brick and mortar stores give money to the repubs and shop accordingly.
And it costs thousands to onboard and vet an AS9100 supplier so companies don't "shop around."
The customers are billionaires, remember.
If you do not hear, you must feel.
Except the Cheetoh lovers will lie.
In addition to what you said about threats to jobs & union conditions, Republicans also want to raise retirement age and lower full-time employment age. Their Great Wall of China between USA and Mexico would dissolve what remains of working class influence, since the working class would be literally confined to a labor prison.
cult members dont turn on the cult they just will place the blame somewhere else
Yessssss!! There needs to be a liberal cohort of support.
My question is: how can I support local if I’m concerned with saving money?
For example: I know Walmart isn’t the best choice to support over my local grocery store, but Walmart makes everything so much cheaper.
Not if these tarrifs kick in, most of their stuff comes from china
You can't even save yourselves, no one can save themselves from the incompetence that is modern humanity.
Yes, let MAGA experience the full force of the natural consequences of their actions and then maybe just maybe they will open their eyes to reality.
Unfortunately their choice will affect all of us. Like it or not😢
Yeah that's a thinker...the small town I will be moving to has one gas station/store. I would like to support it because if we don't, it will go away. But I know they're magats.
My bestie found herself in a similar situation where she lived so she started her own buying co-op; she now has a good income that also provides the bulk of her non perishable food. Is starting a garden a possibility? Does anyone local have chickens or is there space for a community garden? It’s amazing how quickly these things can come together.
Sometimes we don't have the luxury of using boycott to exert our influence.
we've all been lied to, brainwashed, and even targeted.
all of us. D/R voters don't see reality.
Agree 100% they need to learn actions have consequences.
Stupid is as stupid does.
How do you build bridges with people who think only their needs matter???
Stupid is as stupid does. Sympathy out of network
College town in Oregon Trumpers wow I feel we are surrounded like nothing I have ever seen before in my lifetime
You can't fix stupid.
I play NASCAR online. There is open racism there that is appalling. Just last night there was a dude cracking jokes about Trumps deportation plan. Chat went silent but not long. This is happening and they somehow have a looters mentality like by deporting people, they themselves will have more. You know hard it’s going to be to get a freaking taco in Texas?!!! 😂😂😂. Thank Cheesus I live in Canada. You’re about to have so difficult years
The Americans south of Ontario better buy some generators.
Part of Trump's proposed "solution" for the shortage of affordable rental housing nationwide is to deport so many "aliens" that the houses they vacate will be available for US "natives" to rent for less money. I am not making this up.
Who would of thought trump would lie. Don’t y’all remember that wall he built and Mexico paid for.😂
As far as trumpers of they don’t agree with our love for the adjuster then they ain’t worth talking to because this will unite us and break their brainwashed minds.
You stood behind him at his rallies with your Teamster shirts on.
Yeah, well, the ones with money won't care and won't learn anything.
I lost my job, my home, my health insurance and my pension. But hey, we owned the libs!
“Thoughts and tariffs” 😂😂😂
I’m not even interested in helping them
I live in Springfield and there is a lot of trumpers here but they are not everywhere
I live in Eugene, I’m not very active in the community. I’m a hermit but I wish I knew what businesses support the Cheeto. I don’t want to support them.
Same here. I no longer shop at the well known family owned nursery between Eugene and Harrisburg😕 . If you are from Eugene you probably know who I mean. I agree , it would be nice to have a list of all the businesses who support the orange buffoon .
Who said we will have to speak to MAGA?
Mmh mmh mmh,
Most of them probably won't learn from it.
Don't come crying to me. You get what you vote for. 😂😂😂
The bummer is that my trumper parents have reitred comfortably off of their parents, I'm the one thats choosing between rent and groceries and they're framing my liberalism as the reason for how hard my life is and not the dog shit policies of this country, meanwhile i'm disowned and cut out of any family will as they lavish praise and money on my sister for the hard work of _having kids and owning a home._
Online stores have gotten better and better. Just a thought.
I swear blue collar works voted for this mess which is all steel, construction, agriculture, automotive, etc… based hard working jobs. These are the people Donnie always exploited for decades. Like you gotta be an extra kind of special ostrich with its head on sound proof sand if you truly never paid attention to who this dude was before he had a reality tv show.
And FYI, all us NY’ers always knew him as the butt end of every joke that he was the laughing stock of the city. Plus he made 9/11 all about him, if that doesn’t really close you into his self absorbed he is, idk what will.
Portland? After this video finished came a Tide ad with the big Portland The Man hit playing. I can't remember what it was called, but the tune is easy to recognize.
Oregon was the focus of a few "Let's go make a commune" people in the late 1960s. Like most of the northwest, it gained a reputation for being crunchy and progressive. But don't forget how Oregon was founded. And the founders never left.
"Thoughts and tariffs" 😂😂😂
Not as much as a matter to fafo those that voted for him. More a matter for people like me who voted against him who also have to suffer. And even after they suffer, trump will come out and lie and blame everything on Biden and dems.
I'm NOT trying to, and DON'T CARE, let them bump their head, at EVERYONE ELSE'S EXPENSE!!! you VOTED for This CRAP, DEAL with IT 😑🙂↔️
admittedly, I could care less about rescuing them from themselves - i'll focus on me and mine, none of whom voted for him. They get what they asked for and I'm not a big enough person to care about them.
That’s very true, they need to experience what they decided.
The better question is why would literally anyone want to rescue a Trump voter ? 😮
Internet is easy. Make sure you put up a sign in your front window as well, so people understand.
There is no antidote for the orange koolaid 😂😂😂.
Sorry to say this, but if they haven’t learned yet, the chances are they’re never gonna learn
Lmao, I have no interest whatsoever to provide them with any words or anything else to comfort them. Nothing is going to comfort us with the consequences of your choice.
It's called tough love. There's almost always at least once in a child life that parents must offer up some tough love.
Well said😊
Yeah, I’m in a red state.
Yes. Trump would only spin the positive results of rescue efforts on our part as the product of his own efforts, anyway.
Yeah, but the rest of us have to deal with their consequences too
How do you raise taxes without saying you’re raising taxes?
Call them tariffs.
NATURAL CONSEQUENCES....yeah, THAT part...
I am happy to help people. Maga's arent.
App called Good Unite Us. It will tell you which businesses donated money to Rump.
Doesn’t seem very unifying
I 100% agree. They need to face the consequences of their actions if they are going to learn and grow.
