That is the kind of character ghosblade is.
I'm generally atrocious at learning how a character works. This helped better understand him.
There is 5 skills you can use with Ghost Step. They are all in the same line of skills on the skill list all the way to that Fiend Slash skill.
But you are right, they did open the floodgates...and by doing so, it really shat on those old classes who are in a dire need of a rework and upgrade...which you can usually find in the mid to bottom 20 popularity list.
This does indeed prove they have the tools to really make a character shine if they really wanted to. My only hope as well is that they give this chance to the older characters that need it. There are some that still hasnt had this great of an eye candy upgrade since they were created.
MasterReddGaming Weapon Master needs it, M. Ranger needs it, M. Spitfire, Monk needs it, Battle Mage needs it. It’s just my opinion.
@@lt.branwulfram4794 Out of that list, the only one I really agree with is Battle Mage. Why? Well for one, she is among the bottom in popularity and her Transformations as well as synergy with her chasers needs rework. She needs to feel more fluid with her animations. Iirc, her transformation is not even perma, right? Mistress also needs a perma transformation as well. Necro needs a whole new rework because she, too, doesnt feel fluid. She feels bricky as hell and a lot of ppl find her very complicated to play. I was thinking they could do like they did with the GB with her. Just saying.
Edit: And for god sakes I wish they do something about her running animation. Its weird and it doesnt look right dual-wielding a wand!
MasterReddGaming they need to do something about that carpal tunnel inducing gameplay of hers. Still have a degree of challenge, but make it so we’re not holding our hands in pain and frustration afterwards.

What I like most about this character is the range of his attacks. As a slayer and melee class, that's ridiculous but such a huge advantage to be able to apply pressure from so far away. Love the aoe as well, that I don't have to be too close to every single enemy. Haven't played in forever but found a reason to come back now.
Always love how beautiful the game looks like when Aegis presents it.
For some reason it runs like shit on my old Gaming Asus Laptop.. damn shame.
Also you can use the Dashing Variation with his Lv80 skill, it's called Something Dance, maybe Mirage?
really liked how ghost blade turned out,about "big buffs" i think that NEOPLE wants all characters to have a Fifth Job Class and after that they may start "reworking" the old classes,DFO is a game of some age and old classes show that better than anything else,new players can come into the game and the choices will most likely be always the same,they will pick uo the most flash-looking characters with the skills that fit their taste but in my view older characters with older classes are lacking something to call the atention of said new players,they may remake the effect on the skills and some character animations while looking at what they could buff or change in the characters at the same time......kinda risky cuz ya know,there will always be people mad with changes to old stuff that they are used to (i know that feeling quite well) but still its a step needed for the game to walk forward and i know that if they really want NEOPLE can do a amazing job
Female Ranger got a VERY nice rework to support this theory. I only wish they would give every class this same treatment. Male Ranger PALES in comparison to Female Ranger in ease of use for PVE.

Hey I'm sort of new to DFO and I like this character a lot. When I hit the level cap, where should I go first to start gearing him up/what should I do to start my gear farming for him? I keep on hearing stuff about many different legs and epics and it can seem overwhelming , so what do I do as soon as I hit cap on Ghostblade? I'm only level 45 rn. or should I wait for the level up event that's coming very soon due to the 5th anniversary?
Farming the second awakening for this guy is a nightmare for me as a new player

Yeah in anticipation for the game I plan on making like, 4 or 5 characters. But realistically I will only do 1 or 2 at best. Not sure how I can simplify which classes I want to use though.
Thanks for the videos I really enjoy them. Do you not think it more likely that they will nerf him instead of keeping him the way he is? As a new player I wish you would go into more detail about builds and gear sets because there are a fair few sets and I don't know which are best for each character (though I am slowly learning). I am enjoying both characters :)
afaik he hasn't been rebalanced in any way in KRDnF, so he is still in the top tier DPS, but on the other hand the TP rework is coming in KR and we are already seeing some classes get better TP skill upgrades, so we might see a shift in the future, RIP glacial master tho because they only showcased one of his skill homes now lol
If you've played Soul Calibur, this guy is like the Maxi of DFO. Chain whatever skills together and it will work no matter what. This guy is also very quick and versatile, but at least you actually know what you're doing instead of blindly button mashing without rhyme or reason.
Another thing I find funny about this character is that he's very similar to Hitman in terms of skill classification. The Hitman has swordsmanship, gunplay and combination attacks and the Ghostblade has swordsmanship, ghost and dyad skills. The biggest difference is how they play in relation to their roles in a party. The Hitman is a failed synergy class on the DPS side that can seamlessly chain skills together through past cast delay whereas the Ghostblade is the master of multi tasking next to the Mechanics. Do I need to use a ghost to clear this room, can I deal with them myself, should I release my own skills whilst siccing the ghost on those dickheads in the back, can I dyad my way through this and teleport to the ghost's location without giving them a chance? That's my mentality when I play Ghostblade. When I play Hitman, however, all I think is, "Which of my skills isn't on cooldown?"
I haven't been playing or keeping up to date with DFO for a year and this mans had me thinking Soul Bender got a 3rd Awakening LOL

I like the mobility it has ghost step, ghost slash, Drive Slash. You can do hit and run. Juke and jive.
here at philipines its dfo korean is my work.. play 15 to 20 charater a day.. ghost blade and swift master is my favorite

Very new to the game and just got my Ghostblade to 95 using that leveling event. Because the event kinda rushes you through everything though, I'm currently at a dilemma of gearing him. I have a new character currently to actually enjoy the story this time, but how should I start gearing my Ghostblade?
Director Kang designed this class himself lol, so this class gonna be the best DPS for a while before he gets nerfed.

I agree about Enchantress but she can do one thing that no other class can and that is turn Luke into a doll i dunno if it's doable in Luke Raid but i still did it and even have a image as proof
which tayberrs set do you think works better for ghost blade? Leather, Light, or Plate? Especially with fiend war coming

Louis Davis I don’t know if there’s a way to switch if ur already lv75. But if you create an event character, leveling is super easy and fast, you can level it to lv50 just for the first day.

It gives the most gold per fatigue point and the most efficient dungeon for gold rn (and provides a lot of mats for other dungeons too), only do it if you really need gold though

most likely...i mean,M.Mage was the first one with 5 classes and now they are releasing new ones for M.Slayer and F.Mage,can't see why not make new classes for all the others

You dont really need to pick up gold in TE to get most of the bemefit and hes just showing off the character too. Also, he hates DW and BM lmao

You need clear cube fragments to use high level skills. You get them by disassembling equipment.

People do it in a variety of ways, how i do it and a lot of my friends do it (but you can do it in your own way) is that they put lower cooldown skills closer to z/x keys, higher cooldown key further away and the longest cooldown ones, awakening skills and buffs are done through manual input which you can find more about through the guide AegisRick ruclips.net/video/WFhahWDiJ80/видео.html

See I hate that everything is one shot what I loved is that u do combos and find something jugular combos but if this is the end game I don't like it looks boring. If I wanted a one shot game I play Poe or diablo like games
that wasn't even close to endgame tho, Aegis was just farming Black Market because it's the best dg to get money per FP

It's only a small hurdle don't worry about that
90% of end game goes through Auction Hall or cannot be traded so it's not much of a bother.

Even without trading, getting what you want is pretty easy in this game (or has gotten easier since the super RnG days)
