Agreed. He still has a similar style and technique. He has learned a lot more about the body work in my opinion and although he lost to a counter fighter he can also be beaten by a pressure fighter. It will be interesting to see him against Smith. I see him winning but a tough battle.

@Febreze Calling Canelo "canela" is wrong because in spanish we have gendered pronouns. Canela would apply to a girl, so by putting the "ELO" at the end, it becomes masculine, thus CANELO

You can see how much more experienced Canelo is now. Very patient and calculated and has seen every trick in the book. Fighting Mayweather made him a much better fighter.
And Lara, GGG, Cotto, Mosley, Kovalev and Jacobs must have helped as well
