Thunderstorms rock southern England as heavy rain falls overnight

- A huge rolling storm hit parts of the south of England and south Wales on Wednesday night (1 May) as the Met Office issued two yellow weather warnings and forecast heavy rain.
The warnings came after the UK experienced its sixth wettest April since records began, according to provisional data.
More warnings have been issued after thousands of lightning strikes swept across the country overnight, causing travel delays and striking a care home.

Calling them Thunderstorms is like calling a hail storm a pitter patter storm, a rain storm a tinkle storm or a tornado a wooshy storm.

What a lot of old rubbish about the weather and TV biggest culprits. Huge screens,Pictures,digramms.presenters in latest fashions.diagrammes, and then next day, completely wrong😂😂ha ha. I get my forecast off old Sid who is usually leaning on gate at end of the field Morning Sid,what is the weather going to be like today..tells me in a few words,and is usually correct.Old Sid, great ,TV weather rabble just a load of bollocks.😊😂😂
