- Today we are traveling by bullet train from tokyo to Universal Studios Japan to visit Super Nintendo World! We even got a full POV of Mario Cart Bower's Challenge. The whole day was amazing but something did go wrong, which led to me having a mental breakdown. Enjoy!

As a former wedding photographer I know the feeling in your gut when you lose footage. It's heart wrenching. I'm so sorry it happened to you. I put a really good system in place, end of the day copy all cards to an external hard drive AND as an Amazon Prime member I then backed up all of my photos and videos to Amazon photos (free with Prime membership) so that they were always in 2 other places. When I was shooting I had a little zipper pouch that kept my SD cards and they had numbers on them, 1, 2, 3 etc... so that I knew what order to start the day with them. Sadly it's experiences like this that make you develop a system but I'm so glad you have footage from Jete. It's like having a 2nd shooter at a wedding. Saved me more than once when my card got corrupted. I also used more small cards than big cards so that if/when a card got corrupted it wouldn't have more than a few hours worth on it.
So sorry that happened JoJo. I’ve had panic attacks and they can be very scary. Good for you for staying strong and getting through it. You are correct about saying every day is a blessed day to be alive. Sometimes it’s hard to count our blessings through difficult times. You are very blessed JoJo. You are very smart, creative, kind, funny, have a great family, and great friends. Looking forward to the other vlogs. 😊
I am so sorry you lost your footage and totally understand why you would be so upset. I think it is helpful to everyone to be real so that viewers know it’s ok when things go wrong. It sure does suck but you will be alright. It’s hard to know that when you are in the thick of all the emotion and upset😃These Japan vlogs have been amazing and I now feel like a trip there is doable,where it seemed complicated and out of reach before.

I can completely understand. I lost videos of my niece and nephew, but thankfully, I used my phone when my brother was up from TX. He died in January 2022, so I learned my lesson early and thank goodness. At least you have the actual memories. Regardless of how we see it, you experienced it! And thank goodness for Jete's videos!!! Keep up the great work!!! I love your vlogs and will watch them whenever you post!
I totally feel you. I was on the grass at superbowl 2006 and lost all my pics. If I hadn't uploaded it to Facebook I wouldn't have my pics..grainy but there. Lost memory other times. All devastating. It sucks. Im sorry, hopefully someone finds it and recognizes you.. here's to hoping.. You don't know when you're gonna go back, make such an effort, it's your job so there's the pressure for content. The fact that you didn't let it stop you is so inspiring. Way to push through.
I’d cry too. I’m so sorry that happened to you. Many of us have had an experience like that and it’s painful. What a wonderful trip you had and I’ve been enjoying all your vlogs!

Jete showed you filming everything in his vlog of with you guys at Tokyo Disneyland so we know how much you film. But, more than that- It's your livelihood. This is how you support yourself and to lose so much footage means you not only lose memories but also money. So, WELL DONE JETE!!! What a great guy for giving you his footage.

I have been to Super Nintendo World Hollywood several times already including opening day, and so far the Mario Kart ride queue has been manageable. At times it can get over 100 minutes but also the time drops later in the day. Also, there is a single rider line! The ride itself looks identical.
Everyone has bad days. I love your vlogs and we can't wait to go to Japan. My son was stationed over there for 4 years and he wants to take us. Glad you kept up your strength.
Oh I'm so sorry you lost your footage. Seeing you so upset made us sad but it was nice to see that in the end you continued to enjoy your trip. We are enjoying your vlogs and you have helped me feel like we will definitely make it there one day. Happy you were with Jete.
Man, I'm sorry that happened - sometimes it takes a slap in the face to make you appreciate things more and/or be more aware and careful. That being said, I really enjoyed the format of the video as something different and Jeet took awesome footage, you were lucky to be traveling with Universal's #1 content creator and a great friend 😀 onward and upward 💙
Oh gosh that is stressful losing all that footage. We just went to nintendo world in hollywood opening weekend and had a blast even though it was packed to the max!

I’m so sorry JoJo, that’s awful. Hard lesson to learn, but you have many great memories of Japan and I appreciate what you have shared for someone who may never get there.
So sorry this happened, Jojo. But you know what? I always remember that life is a balance of good and bad, we all have to pay our dues, and as long as we (and the people we love) are alive and healthy, the rest is like paying the bill in small amounts. I always try to remember this when life gives me those “why me?” moments.
I’m sure you will come back to Japan to do it all over again, with much better planing and time. (I personally think you should dip your toe on travel vlogs when you do these trips). You know that there’s 3 new lands opening in DisneySea in 2024, right? Hint hint 😉

Oh JoJo! I'm so sorry that happened to you but I know this will make you stronger and you will learn so much from it.
Years ago, I wrote a book and in the middle of it, I made a mistake when I pulled out my thumb drive. I completely lost it. I destroyed it somehow. I had to start over. It was already such a painful experience because it was a personal testimony. But eventually, I finished the book. It took me 10 years to do, but it's done.
I'm so proud of you JoJo for finding a way to still get the work done and to learn from your experience. Thank you for all that you do!

I can't even imagine how it must've felt to have lost all that footage in such a cool place!!! But I have to say, you did very well at fixing it; Was great that you had Jete's footage to back you up! Will put in an embarrassing example from my own channel to prove it could've been much worse: I lost about half a vlogs worth of footage last year & "fixed" it by narrating what we'd missed of a cave tour over footage of cute cats & dogs. Still cringing over that one!
Thank you for sharing your true feelings. We’re human even if you are a content creator it doesn’t change that. I was wondering what was going on because this wasn’t your typical style of vlog. All and all Jete is such a nice friend and let you use his footage. That’s what friends are for.

I like the voice over videos! I hate this happened but truthfully I like the voice over. Makes me feel like we are hanging out and you’re telling me about your trip…which I guess you really are 😂
We all have those moments where we just have to stop and just release everything that was building up inside of us. The important thing is to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and move on. You did just that. I'm sorry you lost your card, but you made lemonade from your lemons. 👍❤️

I did the velocicoaster last year in orlando, but damn flying dinosaur still keeps my number 1 rollercoaster ride. Its really crazy, and feels like flying. Its just a next lvl ride

Hey JoJo, the opening scene broke my heart. OMG dude, first, thank you for thinking so much of us that you actually stayed extra days. Secondly I'm so proud of you for pulling it together - TBH, I don't think I would have had that level of strength. I'm happy you weren't over there alone but had Jete's support!! Thank you for always being your authentic self with us.
I feel you, JoJo. I had gotten a new phone, and my SD card was changed to the new phone. I had the phone for a week and my family and I went to the zoo for the day and I lost my phone. I was so upset I called my phone for a couple of hours that way I tried the following day and after and nobody was answering my phone and then it went straight to voice mail. I was bummed for losing my phone that I just bought a d had inly for a week, but I was upset and cried that I lost my SD card in it, which I couldn't get back. All of my pictures and videos that I previously saved were completely lost. I never did a cloud account, which saves all of my pictures and videos in order to retrieve it. I was lost. People may say it's not a big deal for some of us it is. I know someone stole my phone cause after I purchased another phone since I lost the other one someone had done something to my account cause when I tried to create a cloud account for my android phone in order to retrieve any saved pictures and vedios I had to identify myself with some questions and it gives me an email that is linked to my phone and have no clue who's email that is therefore I can't do any verification on it and so now when I do take pictures and vedios I can't save them. It's okay to get lost in the moment and say how could this happen, how did it happen or what happened. Now this gives you another opportunity for you to go back and film there again. This time maybe you will have a better experience then what you originally had during this trip.

Oh Jojo that is gutting! I had a panic attack for you! I am so sorry! I took nearly 300gb of photos and video and while in Florida (I am from the UK) I was daily panicking to upload to the cloud. Imagine the person who found the SSD card, imagine if they watched it and then checked RUclips and got in contact with you. Oh man that be so amazing. Anyhoo I feel your pain and know your pain. Big love.

I actually know exactly how you feel… I went to Disneyland earlier this year and my SD card from my GoPro got damaged and lost all my ride footage… I literately had a mental breakdown, myself… on the bright side, I’m going to Disney World Florida in December and hoping for a better outcome this time. Always keep positive, buddy. We are blessed to be alive and well 🙏🏼
Mario Kart is just a Men In Black re-theme with added augmented reality glasses. It should have been a fast ride with drifting and such. Such a buzzkill because this ride could have been soooo much better. I am excited for the Donkey Kong coaster coming to Orlando though.

Sorry you lost your footage, but you got to experience it, and you had fun, and was safe. That is the main thing. We had some content thanks to Jete. You come first and foremost, it is certainly not the end of the world for us not to see your footage!
The Shinkansen is awesome! That's one of many conveniences I wish the US have. When I lived in South Korea you really do not need a car. The public transit system is outstanding

Hello. I have watched most of video and looked through comments. Have you tried emailing the places where it might have gone missing. If it was misplaced it is probably sitting in a lost and found. Very rare for people to steal in Japan. Just might be worth trying. Hope it helps. Love your videos

JoJo, I can see how losing valuable content that you spent a lot of money for, and that was probably meant to be a 2023 highlight, would be devastating. It was good that you adjusted and made the most of it. That’s a hard way to learn a lesson. May be one other lesson to learn is that there are already a ton of Tokyo Disney and Disney Sea videos out there. Although seeing more of you at those parks would have been cool, I suspect that not seeing those videos will have minimal to zero effect on how much your channel is valued.
Damn 140 dollars each way? 2 and half hours train ride is ok, how many days did you stay in Japan to see all the parks?

There is a big chance that someone took it to the lost and found office in the USJ. It worth calling them. You might find it.
Lesson of the day is don't record crap just go experience the thing that you want to experience in person and then you know you don't have to worry about you know forgetting or to appease the audience who wants to watch it

Stuff happens, you give the viewers plenty man. You’re a young man still. As a 40 year old who does all this stuff 2 times a year. My advice would be, get up a little earlier and organize yourself. Pockets are not always reliable, get yourself something that your small valuables can be stored in and is fool proof.

Did you guys do the Demon Slayer attraction at Universal Studios?
I can't believe that I visited Japan and I COMPLETELY MISSED going to all these literally super amazing theme parks. All I did when I was there was travel throughout the county and see a bunch of old stuff, like the Shinto temples in Kyoto. YAWN! All I ate was noodles and sushi and stuff like that. YUCK! I didn't even have one Super Mario burger.
I really missed out.

Jete's an awesome friend, unfortunate about the memory getting lost but glad that you both got to explore the parks in Japan together and it was still cool to see a lot of the magic through your first few days and Jete's videos. Rainy days are inevitable, but without them we wouldn't have tomatoes to make amazing pizza! 🍕
Did this Minion ride make you sick? Cause I know theirs uses the same technology as The Simpsons ride which I love, but I know you and Jete always get sick on it.

As soon as I saw that most of the beginning was behind you and Jete’s hand, I pieced together what happened. I can imagine how awful that was! To be in a foreign country, already out of your comfort zone, and for something like that to happen to you seems absolutely awful. That just means you’ll have to go back to Japan!

Hey Jojo! First of all I want to say im sorry about all of your footage that was lost. But I wanted to ask you if you did the minions ride? It got replaced by the back to the future ride so it has that big screen like the simpsons!
