The band is named after the bass player and the drummer which shows just how important they are

Lindsey doesnt use a guitar pick, he is a finger picker. Gives a unique percussive sound to his playing. And dont forget Christine on the keyboards.

Fleetwood Mac dropped "Gypsy" the summer after my freshman year of high school. It crossed over to the easier listening radio stations my parents listened to and stayed there for some years. That was a good thing for those family times when they were driving us somewhere and I was stuck riding in the backseat of the car. I was eight or nine the first time I heard Fleetwood Mac on the radio. Christine McVie singing "Over My Head" from the self-titled album they dropped after Buckingham and Nicks joined. They take their name from the drummer, Mick Fleetwood, and the bass player, John McVie -- Fleetwood Mac. One of the ways Peter Green convinced them to leave John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers with him was by promising to name their new band after them. They formed in 1967 and soon dropped classics such as "Black Magic Woman", "Albatross", and "The Green Manalishi (With the Two Prong Crown)" (later covered by Judas Priest). Then Peter Green suffered a break with reality and left the band, leaving Fleetwood and McVie to bring in new members to keep the band going. They found a successful line up after year or three and the rest is classic rock history. At any rate, "Sara", from their Tusk album is another Stevie Nicks daydream special. I'm slightly surprised you haven't reacted to all of Rumours yet. It's a classic album for good reason. Every song a true gem in some way or another. Their self-titled 1975 album is also really good. That's the album with "Rhiannon". The first time I heard that song it was blasting from the stereo in my cousin's room when I was nine or ten and the song was still in the charts. It definitely caught my ear and gave me reason to listen to the rock and roll station rather than the pop station my parents listened to.

They have a similar song called "Everywhere," which was written and sung by keyboardist, Christine McVie.

It's just Stevie, man. She is so so so epic. Your description of "nurturing" never occurred to me but my gut is saying you are spot on and why so many absolutely adore her. Outstanding man.

This song is melancholic and her voice evokes deep sadness. The melody 🎶 is very uplifting. The lyrics just poetic. “When lightning strikes” maybe once maybe twice.

You should take a look at Fleetwood Mac doing Silver Spring (live 1997 The Dance version) if you want to see some raw pure emotion from Stevie and Lindsey.

FMac was one of the first bands to use so much base. John McVie is the best. My fave music that got me thru many hard times. I have many suggestions of music from a few 50s to the early 00s.

I was almost in tears about how you were describing Stevie's voice. I feel the same, nothing like it. You should do a reaction to Sara and Nightbird by fleetwood, those songs really show case her voice also.

This is my first time I’m watching one of your videos. You are one of the best music reactors I’ve seen. You describe the music and your response to it thoughtfully and beautifully. This is my favorite FM song and you picked up on all the things that make it so special.

This is definitely right there with their best. I don't know why but I used to ignore this song. The backing and production and especially Buckingham all shine. It's not just Stevie. She's not bad though either haha.
I can't remember which songs you've done previously. All of Rumors and the self titled album before it are amazing. I'm So Afraid, the album closer on Fleetwood Mac, is a pretty cool, heavy song. There's also a great live take that's popular on RUclips.
