Mine from D General had $6 on it but they were selling it for $3. It was on sale or something so I pd $1.50. Even so, I was very annoyed when I couldn't find an LEDs on this cheapie. On the back I found a circular impression above a long, rectangular impression. I thought, maybe the LEDs glow through the plastic and show in that round impression. 🙄 Then I Googled my problem and was led to this extraordinary 6-yr-old vid. 😄 Sure enough, my LEDs are bright as day! You know, I have found answers for EVERYTHING that I've ever wanted to know by searching the internet. It seems like, if we haven't already, that we all should be able to do something outstanding with all of this magnificent knowledge at the snap of our fingers. It is all basically free. Our ancestors had nothing like this. We have so much more opportunity.

I expected you showing us how to add an led light but I was disappointed.-_- I'm making a diy power bank but I need to have a led power indicator to know when my power bank is fully charged

I heated up a nail and ran it through the plastic so I could see the led.
It's much easier to see if it's red or blue now and doesn't just look purple like before.
I also added a piece of Velcro to hold a charger to the battery, so i'm never stranded with a battery without the charger.
Those who don't have Velcro just just a rubber band. :-)
If the LED is flashing blue what does that mean?
i have those it turns red when u charge it and blue when ur using it

I bought one of these($5) some time ago, It recently died.
The one I have has a white lid that allows the light to come through partially.
I have the same exact one (same case). You can see the light from the top between the usb ports. The leds in mine are at the very top of the board, underneath the front of the full size usb port.
This video was exactly what I wanted, I am charging and a red light is flashing, I presume it is fully charged when light stops flashing?

Hello ghpk, now a days they just attach a white back cover through which you can see the indicator. But you know what? Charging indicator on that powerbank is not important here. Dont need any indicator, I can just check the status on my mobile phone. You see the blue LED?, it keeps flashing all the time. Its a circuit defect. And it drains some percentage of the battery. What I did is I removed that blue LED with a sharp knife. Now my powerbank does not drain and it gives little bit more backup.

Mine starts blinking red when charged in then 5 mins later it stops flashing red and nothing anymore no green nothing what is wrong?

From what I was told, when it stops flashing. It means the device is fully charged.

What are the Status of LED when powerbank is charging?,and when it is Full charged? Does the RED L.E.D. should go out?

You should have down loaded an app called ampere which will show you how much power is being delivered to the phone.
Tape over the outside of the hole and fill the hole with clear epoxy resin, then remove the tape and the resin will act as a light pipe.

Might be deep discharged, if not in warranty for repairs, you might want to buy a New one but not this model for sure.

But how do you know when the power bank is fully charged does the red light turn green or does it turn off its very confusing
And mine has both the red and blue light on at the same time, So I suppose that means it is both charged and charging at the same time? This thing is not ready for prime time
it stops flashing, just red light when it is full.
I have these same power bank and the cover is white in color so i can see the red and blue led when charging in and out. yours is all black.

to make it even better.
you should try fill up the "hole"/cylinder shape, with hot glue -it will make it LINT proof, and disperse the LED lights really good..
BTW: normaly those lids are made in White plastic, and then the diodes are visible... -must have had a brain-fart when they decided to make a totally Black-power-bank... :D

Inserting in that hole white or clear plastic or glue will do more visible light.

2016 just got one this June works fine thought it would be more faster/dedicated than having to charge this charger bank in a socket. Mines is pink as well....
