I recommend practicing in track editor and building yourself a large flat area and then trying some corner blocks, I find drifts quite inconsistent sometimes but the key is to hold full steering and wait for a period of time which varies with your speed before applying the brake - its not easy, top players just make it look easy. Its also quite a precise track so drifting it accurately at full speed is basically the only thing you need to do to get a good time yet not everyone has which should say a lot

I really noticed how bad my drifting was on another track. That's a good idea for practice.
