    I have this product for 10 years now, its still as good as new, one of the most powerful and effective sprayers you can get. I use it for my garden rather than concrete but its built quality and built to last. Its been left in the sun mostly and outdoors and so impressed how there is minimal rust and damage, only the red paint faded a bit to a whitish matte look, still works great.

    I have the brown hose. It is extremely stiff. Do you know if there is a way to soften it? Hot water inside and out helps soften it for awhile so it can be straightened, but it is temporary.

      @DecoCreteTV  10 месяцев назад +1

      We've noticed the same thing with that brown hose. I don't know of any way to soften it long-term. The easiest thing would be to change it out for the black hose, that one doesn't seem to stiffen up like the brown one. I'll leave a link to the page on our website for the black hose. After 2 years of light use for gardening i now somehow have a small hole directly in the bottom of the sprayer im hoping jb weld might work, any thoughts?

    • @DecoCreteTV
      @DecoCreteTV  4 месяца назад

      That's worth a try! You'll just have to see if it holds up to the pressure. If it's possible, I would try to put some of the JB Weld over the hole on the inside, too. That way, there would be less pressure on the outer repair. Hopefully, it works for you! Thanks for watching Deco-Crete TV!!!

    Just a quick tip. If you get angry and you feel the need to beat up, the sprayer, here's what you should do and what you don't want to do.
    1. Do - make sure you release the pressure then empty the solvent sealer or whatever is in there. If you do not - the sprayer will win and you might be in the ER
    2. Unless you are Clark Kent - don't hit it with bear fists. Again, the sprayer will win and you will be in pain, possibly the ER.
    3. After you have released the pressure, emptied out its contents, get something to hit it with that is made of metal or something hard and solid. Aluminum bat, or a big rock. Using a slege hammer is probably the best option.
    4. If you use a drum roller (those trucks that are used to flatten streets) please post a video.
    5. Regardless of the method used make sure there's no one watching you and making a video or you may get Baker acted. (Put in a psych ward).

    Bought new and watched video before successful use twice. Have tried for months to use a third time.
    The triangular part goes into the third step, but it does not feel locked down and does not hold pressure.
    With the lid removed, I see 6 threads beneath the nut and the triangular part does not move nor spin around as shown at time mark 8:14. How to fix?

    • @DecoCreteTV
      @DecoCreteTV  3 дня назад +1

      Thanks for the comment! Sounds like something is stuck. It's probably the triangular piece. Sometimes it gets locked all the way at the bottom. I would try to free it up by holding the pump assembly in place and twisting the triangular piece up towards the locking nut. That piece needs to spin on the threads in order for the lid to seal properly. Hopefully this helps! Thanks for watching Deco-Crete TV!!!

      @@DecoCreteTV It is stuck. Should I tap it with a rubber mallet, counter-clockwise?

    The air pressure is leaking from top middle part where you the spring...what should i do?

    • @DecoCreteTV
      @DecoCreteTV  Год назад

      If everything good & tight, I would start by replacing the seals in the pump assembly. I'll leave a link to the seal kit below. If the problem is the pump itself, you could just buy a new pump assembly instead of replacing the seals. Thanks for watching!!!

    Stupidly i cleaned my can out but i noticed it was flaking . What can i do?

    • @DecoCreteTV
      @DecoCreteTV  2 месяца назад

      Thanks for the comment! Once the flaking starts, there is really no way of stopping it. You'll just have to deal with the flakes or buy a new sprayer. There's nothing wrong with cleaning the sprayer. Cleaning after each use is important for keeping your sprayer working properly. It is important to use the right cleaner however. All water based products can be cleaned out with water and solvent based products will need a solvent for the cleaner. Xylene works best for most solvent based products, but you should always check the manufacturers recommendations to be sure. If solvent is used for cleaning, you should always leave the lid off of the sprayer over night to let the vapors escape so they don't start to attack the coating on the inside of the sprayer. Hopefully this helps! Thanks for watching Deco-Crete TV!!!

    TAILS - out the box both tips were giving me tails (not to the extreme you showed in the video, there was sealant from top to bottom but thicker at the ends. Why?

    • @DecoCreteTV
      @DecoCreteTV  10 месяцев назад

      Usually, it's from a little bit of sealer caked up in the corners. If the tips were new, they may have a burr from manufacturing. You could try a deburring tool, but those tips are under $12.00 a piece and the .5gpm is only one you would need for concrete sealer. If you do end up buying a new tip, I would recommend the one with the T-Jet nozzle. It's quite a bit more expensive, but well worth it. Night & day difference from the out-of-the-box tips. I'll leave links for both of them at the bottom. The other thing would be to make sure you have the sprayer pumped enough, having enough pressure is important, especially for those tips that come with the sprayer. Thanks for watching!!!
