I finally got to try this product. I could cry, it’s so good! I was one of very few with curls growing up but I was the only one with big fluffy or fluffy ringlet + wavy hair. I am white, or so I thought until I did a DNA ancestry test, but I just wanted to look like everyone else. Now that I know more about the curly side of my family who were a mystery to me until the last few years, I have been able to get advice for taking care of my hair but most products are to heavy and make my hair break. I used to sit in front of the mirror as a kid crying and trying to brush it straight to fit in better, thinking it would make everything better. I got bullied at school and home and I ended up either gelling my hair into a tight bun daily, all day and all night or straightening almost daily when straighteners were easily available because I felt that bad about it. I felt bad about having curly hair and I didn’t feel “normal”. I have spent the last two years struggling to embrace my curly and wavy hair. I have always felt ugly in my curls and like I don’t suit it. It was so nice to put in the defining cream and it actually works. It’s not greasy or crunchy. Just soft and brings out the natural satin feeling my ringlets and waves have without the frizz or messy puffiness I am used to. There’s no tangles either. Detangling in the shower with the conditioner was amazing! I will definitely recommend this to everyone and my family. I feel relieved. I honestly feel like for the first time, I don’t hate my hair.

Carmen Melendez Hi! Each curly girl is different, some can handle a little heat as that gives them more volume. Of course frizz is normal when adding heat. But diffusing with cold to medium heat works just fine as well. 😊
You should wash your hair according to your hair & scalp needs. A lot of curly heads wash their hair 1x a week but again it depends on your needs. The deep conditioner can be left on for 10 minutes as a mask and then you can rinse it off and follow up with the rest of your routine. 💗

I noticed you didnt have to brush your hair , do you do that during shampoo or conditioning. Or that doesn't matter? I just know when. I get out the shower my hair is tangled lol.

I am trying this product tomorrow. I def won't get those sort of results (but my hair is really long and I'm not expecting miracles lol). I hate to say this I used the riso defining cream and it completely almost ruined my hair. My beautiful curly locks were turned into kinks..I literally had to shampoo my hair 6 times but the damage is pretty bad...I'm now treating it with avocado and olive oil to restore my hair to its original state...I'm really sad because I really wanted to like this product as I saw many great reviews on RUclips and as a Latina I like supporting mi gente.
