    Nice attention to kid safety by putting those safety rails by the windows. I do the same. Either a second layer of glass in the bottom third part of the windows or those rails.

    I have just found your channel. Very enjoyable and informative . If you don't mind me asking, how much does an apartment like your's cost buying from the builder and how much does it cost to renovate or refurbish like the one you have ? I am thinking about when I retired to go live in Norway or China.

    I thought foreign nationals are not legally allowed to buy real estate in China. How did you do that?

      We can buy one but was easy for me - I have a Chinese family. Better to put in the Chinese families name, better bank rate.

    I am in Guangzhou. Are you buying an apartment or a house? Doesn’t a house require a household registration?
