ASMR stands for autonomous sensory meridian response. It is the term used to describe a tingling, calming sensation some people report experiencing in response to close personal attention or certain audio or visual stimuli.

The set up is nice and calming, relaxation at its best. The visual triggers when reaching around to our face gave me mega tingles.

As kind of a different perspective on why this video in particular is great, I have PTSD, and closeness and genuineness scare the shit out of me. Sounds stupid because it's a video and there's obviously nobody actually near me, but this video still sits right on the edge of triggering me and being relaxing enough to sit through, so it's been really helpful to learn to desensitize my anxiety and exist in that space like you said at the beginning. I doubt you set out to make asmr exposure therapy but you're doing a great job at it lol, so thank you!

Those denim sounds are so nice, usually my ears perk up with really starchy and crinkly dress shirts, but denim sounds are lovely. And all those closeup hand movements made my little Gemini heart go 😌
Simple but effective: visual triggers are incredible! And fabric sounds are relaxing too. The final countdown it's perfect: personally I dozed off at 4 😁 😁

I always admire the continuous flow in the videos, a casual paced presentation, discussion. Also, it says "affirmations" in the title yet I hadn't expected the "I'm proud of you."
