Thanks, I think this is an important step for me as my drone is just too low. I get better resonance by loosening the seal to the mouthpiece but I know it's not correct. Luckily i am blessed with full fat lips lol so they do buzz pretty well, just not in full control yet.
oh, man. I was about to give up and then found this video. I did all the stretching several times and still couldn't do it. Then all the sudden out of nowhere I am lip buzzing like crazy. This video took me from no way am I going to be able to do that lip buzz....to...wow, I got this! Thank you!
Thank you so much for the clear explanation. I am besides a violinist a singer too and a lot of the excercises techniques are similar. I am going to practise a lot :D Can`t wait!
@@didgeproject Hey Didge Project, Hey A.J. Block, I'm the proud owner of a Didgeridoo but I don't know how to play it.. Could you come see me in Magee,Mississippi?
Hi can you recommend a didgeredo for a beginner pls? I have a very heavy, handpainted one but I don't know if it is ornamental or an actual instrument? Is there anyway of telling pls? Tnx in advance
Hi! I am a beignner and i bought the Menil Trombone Didgeridoo - TSDDG1-BK. I can do some buzz without the didge. But as soon as the didge closes the seal and touches mouth - it just breaks the buzz. It literally stops the buzz by pressing on my lips and killing all the sound. Cant buzz with the didge seal, aka "inside the didge". I try various trombone buzzing exercises, incuding buzzing with straw, and trying to focus buzzing to the senter of the lips and pulling the corners. I play the flute just fine, but i think my middle part of the lips is dead or something. I also get air between teeth and lips while buzzing, maybe when the seal presses the cheeks into the bone it just kills all resosnace by obstructing the cheek movement. How do you guys buzz inside the seal?? O_o
Hey D., I think you need to practice starting the buzz with the didgeridoo mouthpiece already touching your face. It's not really recommended to try to buzz and then make contact with the mouthpiece later. Its better to start with full-seal contact and buzz from there. try that and see if it works. cheers!
geez ..... that exercise was working for me! Interesting. It started working on the second round of the lip stretching. Awesome technique!!!!!
The tightening of the corner of the lips is a deal breaker! Thanks mate!
I've been playing for about a month now and your videos have been enormously helpful! Thanks man!
Thank you... Thanks for all your other videos i've watched also.
Happy to be of service. What would you like to see next on our channel?

I can drone while using my abdomen air but Im confused on how to have enough pressure to buzz my lips while circular breathing
Practice diaphragmatic breathing. See this video: ruclips.net/video/HpKYAdSGO-E/видео.html
