Three new SUVs in a little over three years: Skoda’s recent push into the crossover market is bang on trend with where the new car market is heading, and following the debut of the Kodiaq in 2016 and the Karoq 12 months later, 2019 sees Skoda line-up yet another newcomer in this growing segment.
It’s the arrival of the brand’s smallest and possibly most important SUV model: the Kamiq. Pronounced ‘Ka-mick’, this is a rival for the Renault Captur, Volkswagen T-Cross, and the soon-to-be-replaced Nissan Juke, competing in the small, supermini-sized SUV market.

Was looking forward to this review. The Kamiq looks like a typical VAG snooze fest and I thought it would get slated for it. Fast forward five minutes, the review is really positive and I now quite like the Kamiq 🤔 This presenter could sell me anything!

Definitely the most beautiful ouf of those three. Karoq is just ugly (especially the back) and Kodiaq is just "meh" and kinda outdated looking and his design fits more to like 2012 and could stand next to Rapid or pre-facelift Octavia. Kamiq as the first work of new designer Oliver Stefani looks just beautiful. Even much better than Scala IMO. Also interior is like one step ahead to other Škoda´s. I really looking forward to buy one next year.
As a c4 cactus rival, I don’t think it does that much to trump it. Perhaps in terms of cabin quality it does well but it is bland and not quirky enough. Small crossovers need to stand out.

Badge engineering at it’s best...?, change the badges, some off the interior trim and there’s not much difference other than on price.

Yes the man said it another brilliant car from skoda please don't compare it to that dross of a car Citroen air cross simply not in the same class.

@@keithisaacs6092 This Skoda is an honest, decent appliance, something you buy when you absolutely dont care about cars. I wouldn't buy it but it has its place in the market and I respect that.

Looks absolutely nothing like it
I've had my fill of VAG group sending the same car, the same dashboard on all it's brands. No imagination, no surprise, no fun. Everything is stark and their cars are even not reliable anymore. They just send an illusion of robustness, based on old time. They are better in cheating than in innovating. Customers should boycott VAG, and bloggers too. I will.

Lüftersteuerung nur über das Menü per Touchscreenregler einstellbar 😯😖👎. Ein echter Schilbürgerstreich, aber ein Drehknopf gespart 🤮.
