I last saw this video in 1989 together with a bunch of Kiwi pilots most of whom were from the town of Te Anau, several of whom had been involved in deer capture. Great to see this again, many thanks!
@@mikeallison8773 it is healthy about being nostalgic but we have to evolve and adapt to changes. It is unfortunate that we have bad eggs in the batch of CAA but the evolution of safety in the aviation industry is far better than it was in 1980s.
Good video, I lost my Uncle back in 1980 in a Hughes 500 chopper crash while deer hunting in the north island, I was only 9yrs. Both he and the pilot died

This is before my time I was born in 98, wish it had of been 68 tho, god New Zealand looked good in the 70’s and 80’s
