- So the young lad thought he would straight pipe the exhaust on my Y62 Patrol. It’s bloody loud so thought I would show you. Also I go through the new rear bar prototype and yet another engine light has come on
Like a teenager that can't stop smiling when that foot goes down. Sounds epic
You can tac in a little sausage exhaust silencer that just reduces the some of the droan at 2-3krpm and reduces some of the low frequency notes that reverberate through windows.
Hows the crackle... better than roast pork!
That exhaust takes me back to my first car, old ford cortina that had a hole in the exhaust that sounded pretty close to your 🤣🤣🤣, Steve must love it when you do shit like that, the boys in the workshop probably run a tab on what codes you are going to throw now.😁😁👍

Are you sure the battery voltage drop issues isn’t a earth problem. I had the same issue as the Anderson plug had been earthed behind the bumper not going all the way back to the battery.
Earth cable all the way back to the battery, no more voltage drop.

Sounds grouse love the crackle the exhaust gives I love it but don’t think the cameras do it justice with the noise would love to hear how loud it actually is in person

Obviously the supercharger puts out amazing power & torque results but my question is have you had any gearbox issues or do you know anyone who has??
Also how is the klm per 100 now stock standard 14.4 what’s your numbers now with supercharger??

I run straight pipe on my stroked td42 turbo diesel Ute but it’s not too bad really.
Had a gq race rig with a ls in it headers and high flow etc 94 decibel and sounded sweet as. Keep up the videos

Please remove the shunt sensor wire on your y62 from new, it has a toggle latch and requires no tools and 10 seconds to remove. Your last video could be updated as you don't even need to remove the battery terminal, just need to know where to press.

Can you take a vid of your cluster doing 0 to 100? Sounds a bit raspy for me. I reckon the Germans have the best sounding 8 cylinders, deep thumping sound. Wonder how hard it would be to replicate in the y62
The rear add on are going on our next patrol (armada) here state side . Working on trading in our 15' platinum for a 17 or newer with 4wd . Found a beautiful 17' blue platinum with 4wd at a price I like.
My young bloke works at the Elizabeth adf base..I think he heard you😂😂😂....well it is loud..

Any advice for cleaning corrosion of 2021 y62 engine bay? She had a bit of beach spray, took cover off, found heaps of sand and corrosion. 😟

love it Dave! if you really like it do what i did and put a electric bypass valve on, i have pacemakers cats back and put the valve/dump pipe just after where the pipes all come into 1, turn it off with key fob and standard noise open it up part or fully and you have what you got now, no code errors

@@texasslingleadsomtingwong8751 They don't. The SV and SL do not come with sun/moon roof. On the SL, the sun/moon roof is part of an option package.
@@hakunamatata6464 I so wish the sun/ moonroof was not there...enough to want to have one removed at a fab shop . They are nothing but salesman selling points that are detrimental to the longevity of the vehicle.
