Only Robin McAuley could possibly give the haunting Melody such a great Feel of hurt and pain ..... Just Brilliant !!.
Their performance is just amazing!!! McAuley doen't miss a fucking note and his voice is in perfet shape and Michael's playing is as always on point and magical and Spencer's backing vocals harmonize so fucking great with the lead vocals!
When Michael plays like this he manages to tap into my soul. Opens it up to all sorts of feelings, feelings I didn't even realize I had. Its hauntingly beautiful how he does this.

No one plays the guitar like he does. He's an absolute Master of the instrument. He brought sounds and tonal qualities to the genre of Rock 'n' Roll like no one before him - and all that come after pay him their respects. Thank you for your heartfelt response to how you felt for this performance. It reminds me of the first time I heard Schenker on the UFO "Phenomenon" album. It was like nothing I'd heard before or since.

Ofcourse,Michael Schenker ( Black & white Acoustic guitar )is the younger brother of Scorps. Rudolph Schenker, Michael was the first original Lead guitarist on their first Scorpions debut album 1972 "Lonesome Crow", left to joinn UFO after , then came back to Scorpions briefly to play on 3 songs off the Album :Lovedrive" album ! hope that helped!

dark indeed... during this time Michael was already having problems with alcohol... could not stay under control until the end of his own tours... unreliable, but the unmatched guitar playing was always there... "can't sleep alone anymore, need you here with me" Might be an allusion to alcohol at night, can't sleep without drinking... 😢

I have heard this song a long time ago and it haunted my life from the first time. These vocals are Godly ! Thank you Robin Mcauley for this brilliant voice and Michael Shenken for your unique guitar performance !! I was searching for this song so long and now i found it ! Great stuff! I met Gary at Firefest one year and he joined Pink Cream 69 for Doctor Doctor. Great memories! I think I first saw MSG live supporting Whitesnake in 87/88 maybe but I’d been a fan from before then and still am.

Agree with most of the positive comments about this song. The first time I heard this song (still have the tape by the way) and just played it today in my 99 minivan with the tape deck and no CD player. But anyways, very moving song for me on the guitar. The studio version intro makes me picture Clint Eastwood in the old spaghetti westerns with the background fills. Wish it had a better name as it deserves it. I have played it for so many women and all they can think about is the sad title.

oh my god...listen to Schenkers incredible skills on the solo, blows me away, shame it was just an instrumental, I would have liked to have seen him pick up his flying-v and finish it off like in the studio version, that would have topped if odd for me, but overall, this version was brilliant, sounded 90% like the studio

Robin McAuley is better than maaany known vocalist. His voice color is something exotic, amazing vocal range with powerful "chesty" high notes. But he isn't popular, why? Why someone like Marylin Manson or Cradle of Filth are more popular than Robin? (No offense to Manson or Danni) i just think there are not at his level. How is this fair ?
I don't know what the fuck is going on with Gibson and Ovation，why they don't have Michael schenker signature model? He is a legend, influential guitar master, he played Gibson nearly 30 years, he played ovation during 80s and 90s, so why don't u produce his signature model ? Sure, he got Dean endorsement, but he deserves better.
