I'm someone that's a light sleeper with Tinnitus who needs to have some audio going right through the night so the ringing doesn't wake me up, and I've loved some of these videos, I'm glad none of the patterns had particularly loud scraping of the wooden rakes scratching across the panels under the sand because that normally wakes me up too, I enjoyed how gentle the sounds were from this one.
Ok but, why does this deeply satisfy a part of my brain? Certain of the shapes and patterns just make me feel like "finally, something that's perfectly balanced". I didn't expect to react so much to this.
Humans are used to seeing symmetry in nature. Things that are highly symmetrical appeal more because it’s usually a sign of something that’s perfect. And humans love perfection, because the better something is, the higher the chances of survival in nature. This is all a hypothesis though.

I'm always hypnotized not only by the patterns you create but by the subtle shifts of the wrist that take you from one anchor point to another. You must also be a musician or some other type of artist. And my cat too loves watching all of these.
I chose to step out of an argument whilst not being able to leave the room. I found your videos soothing enough to help me stay regulated whilst i had several temptations to speak up which could've made things worse. Thank you for saving me.
There is a gate on the audio causing it to duck too fast. Longer release time on the gate would fix this so the silence isn't so abrupt after the sand stops moving.
When I was a youngster, I drew similar designs with my poo in the bathtub. My parents knew right then that I was going to be a very successful and talented artist when I grew up...I work at Walmart and I'm horrible at art.
