I feel like the original brief they got for Bon Voyage was to smile only on the prechorus parts lol. They look mad during the dance break 😂. But during promotion, they changed it to smiling to every inch of the song. Edit: also, the fireworks during the mv were CGI so there are no fireworks in the Bon Voyage dance video

The first suits being Odd Eye, the all grey suits being Scream and the red outfits being BOCA (including Siyeon's blue extensions lol). They also reference gestures and choreos for those eras, with Gahyeon's mask and Gahyeon's gesture at the end of the bridge before the last chorus. Great video! Keep it up!
Their current Performance Director, Hwang Sooyeon, started choreographing for Dreamcatcher with Deja Vu. She also has her own dance troupe and has appeared with them in MV's for other Kpop artists. When Dreamcatcher need backup dancers she's always there. It is important to note that Chase Me was also the debut of Dreamcatcher. It had a lot riding on it to sell the act both as an unorthodox music act as well as the second coming of five of its members. They needed it to be flashy and they needed it to make them look good. Minx played it too safe, if DC was going to survive it needed to demand attention. Reminds me a lot of early BTS actually. A lot of their early choreo was super high execution and spectacle before they were successful enough to slow down a little.
