- A special song prepared by Dalida as a dedication to Lebanon, this country that was suffering from war since 1975..the lyrcs are arabic, and Dalida is singing it with the Lebanese accent :)
Unfortunately, Dalida left us in 1987, before we listen this song live from her.. it was heard the first time in 1989, 2 years after Dalida's death, and it was included in an album called "escales autour du monde"
this video was prepared by me as a dedication for our eternal star and as a dedication to all Lebanese on the Occasion of the independance day on November 22

Hello, The lyrics of this song is written by the lebanese poet Abdel Hafiz Shamas (am proud to be his son) , and the music is composed by Jef Barnelle (French), it does have its video clip in the lebanese televiosions, but this videoclip is also very great, thx for your care about this song and about lebanon itself.

as a quick summary she says after war and fire ended, Lebanon is Back more beautiful than it was, this awsome country with its nature, sun and moon,even Love tastes better under the Lebanese sky
she talks about the Capital Beirut,saying that it's a treasure, and saying that she misses the parties and nights she used to spend b4 etc..

you mean at 1:50, this photos represent one of Dalida's outdoor toors with lebanese soldiers ! Dalida sang the last time in Beirut in 1975, this photo was taking during that visit as she was in a jeep with soldiers, that was just before the civil war of lebanon.

@ameroffsky DALIDA était italienne n"e en Egypte et elle était devenue française par naturalisation puisque le France était son pays de réussite et d'accueil. La France devait bien cela à un telle personnalité au talent immense
