My dad used to take me driving with him, about 3 years ago in his big truck. I finally found the song. He passed away in 2021 after our family vacation and this was one of the songs he played on the ride back. I'm crying, I'm so happy and sad that I found this song.
My dad worked for Roberge for about 30 years. Hauling livestock, sacrificed his time for his 7 children at home and beautiful wife---his time and love!! Thanking ALL truckers!!!
I remember this song when I was a child growing up in the 70s. I went to research how this convoy started and it was due to high gas prices due to OPEC. This song should be the ANTHEM for the new Convoys in Canada and hopefully USA! God Bless our Truckers!
We salute all you truckers out there! Just came back to Cleveland, Ohio after a road trip to Charlotte, NC and the truckers were by far the best, most courteous drivers on the road! Thank you all!
