"It was gloomy land that seemed to hold All winds and clouds and dreams that shun the sun, With bare boughs rattling in the lonesome winds, And the dark woodlands brooding over all, Not even lightened by the rare dim sun Which made squat shadows out of men; they called it Cimmeria, land of Darkness and deep Night."
The Drylands, A narrow region in South Eastern Cimmeria is desiccated and arid when compared to the rest of the Nation. While the area itself is not very large, it could be called a small regional desert due to the climate and overall lack of sustainable resources within the area, that said, a person could clear the entirety of it on foot in about 2 full days, While traveling with water is most important on any trip, but on average this strip of tundra-like desert does not kill as many with the typical heat and oppressive sun of the worlds larger "proper" deserts. More typically, individuals find themselves getting lost in the rocky outcroppings and greyish brown canyons.

He is far different from Kull in his behavior. He is a very distant descendant, not a reincarnation. Bran Mak Morn look more like Kull than Conan.
