Did you add grease to the bearings before you installed new seal? If so, what type of grease did you use? I may need to do this myself this time. Dealership repair only lasted 6500 miles and no way am I paying another $600 for them to do it again. Thanks for giving me the confidence to do this procedure.
Great Thanks I did change the gear oil of my 2014 gs lc but I do have leak from drive shaft end side. The previous owner make a hole from the bottom he said in case water go inside to preserve the shaft. Now the oil come out from this hole. I believe there is seal on gear box shaft drive side. How can I change it please. Thanks.

No grease is needed because the bearing is in the oil
Could it be that the faulthy bearing is causing the new seal to break?
Excellent work, congratulations.
What is the model of your motorcycle?
2008
Great Thanks

Maybe you had to wash the inside of the differential and the bearing with solvent before putting the seal on, I think it would be advisable
what kind of puller did you use for the flange? thanks
Self-made
@@yegereli thank you sir.
That is... take out the gufero and then start scratching the "open" thing with a wire brush... Horror...
