I was in this institute as faculty in 2022. Medical college is still s dream for IIT to achieve. It has not yet got permission to admit MBBS seats. Secondly college name is Dr. BC roy multi-speciality medical research centre. Take interview of medical faculty who are there in BCRMMRC. Many have left that institute. Syama Prasad mookerjee hospital is a section 8 company run by IITKGP. God knows when they will get permission to start MBBS course. Correct me if wrong
