woo, the sound of the new exhaust is awesome!
Thanks for the Vid! Cool seeing new mods installed. 22 ST here. I just got the AFE Momentum GT Cold Air Intake System w/ Pro 5R Media & the Thermal R&D 3" Cat-Back Exhaust System with Mid Pipes - Coated Tips at my doorstep. Trying to get them installed asap from my local guy. Next is the Steeda intercooler and the Steeda Rear Differential Brace along with either 5 Star tune or ZFG. Your ST sounds great. The Pure turbos are going to be a later purchase after I pay all this off haha!👍
The thermal 3 in is nice my wife and I spent a couple hours under the car a couple weeks ago putting one on. The hardest part is getting the stock exhaust off. I’ve had some Cvf downpipes in my cart for like a week, once I get those bought and installed and and S&B finally ships me my intake, I’m gonna pick up an hp tuner. Do yourself a favor and do go the five star route. Zfg is king, other good options are gear head, jdm engineering, palm beach dyno,
@@lucian7182 Awesome! Yea I have a local shop doing the exhaust install on Friday. ZFG is the plan. I'd like to get the intake installed and intercooler installed before I go with ZFG. I watched a few vids on the downpipes being installed and seemed like a bear on some of those bolts. When I do go with them, looks like the local shop will make some money off me lol. Thanks for the info.
I still think Corsa sounds the best. The mods I want to complete...intercooler (Steeda or Whipple), SPD down pipes & mid pipes and the Steeda brace.
I just got the CVF downpipes installed with the stock exhaust. Only issue was I reused my o2’s and one went bad, after taking it back out to change the o2 the bung hole stripped after trying to take it out. Only took 30 mins to fix with a new bung hole and welder. Tip use sensor safe anti seize😂
So would you recommend just putting new sensors when you install the downpipes?
@@lucian7182 new top o2 sensors 100%, the bottoms are easy to switch yourself. AND use sensor safe anti-seize. Otherwise I love them they sound even better with the thermal 3 inch, there’s some sound clips on my page
@@402SHO did you have a good amount of miles on your sensors? Mine only have about 10k on em. Did the sensor somehow get contaminated or damaged during the job?
@@402SHO
Sensor safe antisieze?
That is supposed to be applied to the threads and should never touch or effect the sensor itself.
@@charleshenson4183 yes u read exactly what I said. My buddy has a tub for Mercedes sensor safe anti seize it’s older but works
Did you import your diffuser from Europe or did you manage to find a state side vendor? I really want one but was hesitant to buy it from the Etsy vendor in Europe.
Thank you for documenting this 🙏🏾. Great video.
Is the drone loud with the downpipes?
What is the name of Trevor's garage and how do I contact him for installation work? Thanks.
He appears to be top notch.
I've seen several people attempt to remove the downpipes on a lift and they were struggling.
He made it look easy doing it by himself on the ground.
Hows the sound in the cabin? Too loud?
The mods are pretty cool. How much was the labor for the install?
Next weekend I’m gonna be throwing in a Cvf intercooler, S&b intake, upr plug and play catch can, and some oem black and chrome ford ovals.
Regarding downpipes I’m on the fence, I was thinking Cvf are the Spd really worth the extra few hundred bucks?
That rear brace looks intimidating, tells others proceed with caution....
