    Thanks for kicking my ass back to sieving my dry ingredients. For a decade I was using a whisp but the old way gives better lighter pastry.
    I have made your scones again. That’s a keeper.
    I get a lot out of your videos. And you are highly entertaining. I live in the states but I had a long term relationship with an Irish lad who lived near Waterford but we got up too Dublin often. Used to stay at Bewllys up near Embassy row. Ott was good, lower cost and bear a lot on foot.

      Yes, I use a whisk sometimes but for things that are really light and airy I’d rather sieve it. Delighted to hear you like the recipe! Thanks a lot for watching the vids and for giving things a go! 🇮🇪😊

    My method is seperating the whites from the yolks. Yours is quite straightforward. A plastic bag over a cake is quite new for me. Actually we learn everyday. Thanks Chris for the tips and the easy recipe. Hugs 🤗🤗

      Yeah, no need to separate anything here. It’s really light as is. There’s no fat or milk weighing it down so it’s incredibly light. Yup, give my freezer bag idea a go 👌🏻😊

      Yeah I always thought why not. As long as I keep it moist and flexible it shouldn’t tear. And it doesn’t! 😊☘️

    Ilove the Dublin accent. Im 20 year moved from Dublin to westmeath and i still never lost a bar of my accent either
