Momo wanting to go in first could be one of two things, he wants to get to the food first, probably, or he wants to make sure there is nothing inside that could harm his family, maybe, lol.

Some people accuse Momotaro of being aggressive and/or abusive, but the fact that he and his young silverback son are getting along as well as they are is a testament to how gentle and calm Momotaro really is. Add to that the gentle nature of Gentaro, and things seem to be going quite smoothly for this family.

Hi! Is Gentaro getting stronger than his father since he has been able to go in first on a couple of occasions? Especially given that Momotaro failed to stop him.
Because of the heat. Don't misunderstand please. The gorillas prefer to spend time indoors. Of course, it is possible for them to be outside if they like. You would figure out the reason why they go back inside so early if you could be here. Even me, I can't put up with the hot weather and one hour is enough. On the other hand,, Since last week, they can go in and out even at night time. In additiion, they are usually outside at least for 6 hours a day. NOW IS THE SUMMER SEASON. THEN , JUST AN HOUR A DAY.
He never acted like a real leader to begin with. He’s very mean to Genki… she’s terrified to take that first step outside because of him. I watch them all very carefully.

The way Gentaro struts around that enclosure like he’s the alpha. I expected to see Momo stop him from doing that but he doesn’t.
