What's sad is I'm such a longtime fan of Brandon Herrera that I immediately caught it was his place just by the M82A2 in the thumbnail (or specifically, the crappy Eotech red dot he put on it).
I've honestly _never_ heard of these based gentlemen until they showed up on Brandon's range and I'm now halfway down the weirdest rabbit hole of my life.
The weapon @6:16 is indeed a German MP40 from WW2. It was 1 one the best submachine guns of the period due to its overall accuracy and controllability, 2 things most submachine guns lack. Having fired this weapon and a modern MP5 back to back, they are both surgical instruments inside of 100yds.
Incendiary rounds are real, but the one they had in the shotgun is known as "Dragon's Breath" rounds, and they use magnesium shavings to make the fire.
Brandon Herrera is a good guntuber. Especially with his gun meme reviews, cursed gun images, and Darwin Award series is good! Definitely at least worth a shot reacting to in my opinion.
You should watch their video from last week where they survived on MREs for a day. It's so funny seeing Narrator train them like they were in the army. Keep it up Dave. 👍
19:02 That’s the VSS Vintorez. A platform I fucking adore. They’re an integrally (inside for lack of a better term) suppressed DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle). However the VSS also has a cool feature for a rifle designed to be a DMR, full-auto, then the AS Val became a thing!
I have no idea how expensive magazines can get, but II will say that the most expensive cartridge I know is the 700 Nitro Express. Kentucky Ballistics has made a few vids with it. One shot is about $80
was it 80$ a shell? i was under the impression that 50BMG armor piercing was way more expensive than 80$ even back when he had the accident a couple years back...
most expensive "small arms" ammo is probably the raufoss mk211 .50bmg round. if you load up a barrett .50 cal with raufoss mk211 rounds, that will be 65-100 usd per round, 5 or 10 rounds in a magazine so upwards 500 or 1000 usd. reason the raufoss mk211 round is so expensive is that its an heiap (high explosive incendiary/armor piercing), it has a tungsten core for armor penetration, and it has a small explosive charge and it also has an incendiary charge all within a single .50bmg bullet, only feature missing is the tracer feature to see where the bullets go in darkness. the short bolt-action "pistol" with the bayonet is a shortened mosin nagant rifle. the rifle afterwards with the large barrel is either a vss, integrally suppressed 9x39mm (very similar cartridge as the ak47 and ak74 but instead of 7.62 or 5.45 mm bullet diameter, its 9mm), the rounds takes a lot longer time to arrive at target because they are subsonic rounds to make even less noise. that shotgun round that had the sparkling effect is called "dragon breath", those sparking things it fires are burning magnesium flakes/pellets.
6:18 MP-40. German made submachine gun built to be fired from the hip as a bunker clearing weapon but also excelled in many other places. Made during WW2.
18:07 That my friend is an Obrez. The Russians took a Mosin Nagant rifle, and chopped a good bit of its barrel of so it could be used in tighter spaces (I think). What you see at the end there…is the standard Mosin Nagant bayonet.
1st- .50 BMG is what they were firing from the barrets, its $15 a round 2nd - yes, incendiary rounds are a thing but what they were firing from the shotty was dragons breath, powdered magnesium which will catch flame very easily and send it up 120+ft in distance
The guy who ran up with the sniper is Mat Best, he's the co founder of Black Rifle Coffee company (Which I think this is the BRCC range) and he was an Army Ranger and also worked for the CIA
i allways wanted to fire the set of 1911s because the ones im talking about are made out of a 4.5 billion year old meteorite, the only problem is that they cost 1 - 1.5 million dollars.
25:27 yea, incendiary rounds are real. They’re cool and start dead grass and clothing on fire but the worst part is that they burn up your bank account
If you get this excited about watching people shoot, then you my man need to buy you a gun or make friends who own guns and go out to shoot. It truly the feeling of freedom.
21:42 I forgot if they went in depth with this one. The glorious M82…M82A2…they thought by making it a bullpup (bullpup = trigger is in front of the magazine/chamber) would make it possible to compensate for recoil…and shooting down helicopters apparently.
7:09 5.56 NATO which the M16/M4 is chambered in is about $28 for 20 rounds right now, compared to let’s say, 30-06 which the Browning BAR and M1 Garand are chambered in is about $47 for 20 rounds right now. It’s hard to say definitely if that’s a set price, it depends on resources/size for the rounds, scarcity of the rounds, how far they’re made from the selling point, etcetera.
if youre asking for guns with rediculously expensive ammo... is guns chambered in .50BMG variants(especially if its something like armor piercing)... from what i remember, the bullets are like 100$ and up... for a single one... alternatively, if were talking guns in general, the GAU-8(the gun on the A10 warhog) shoots bullets that are EVEN BIGGER and made of depleted uranium... soooo... thats possibly the most expensive singular bullet i can think of besides tank shells and missiles... aaaaanyway... yes incendiary rounds are a thing, and its kinda niche, but also kinda cool...
Some gun nut thing about the silencer: It works so well because it's on a pump-action shotgun that likely shoots subsonic buckshot(although the difference between subsonic and supersonic buckshot in matters of sound is not that great). Usually, the 3 things that make sound in a gun are: the muzzle blast(the main reason why you use a sound suppressor), the action and the sonic crack of the round/rounds. A semi-auto firearm makes less noise than shooting at full auto. And a pump-action/bolt-action/lever-action firearm makes less noise than a semi-auto because you're the one that cycles the round(by pumping/cycling the bolt/using the lever), not the recoil. The sonic crack is the round/buckshot breaking the sound barrier. Using subsonic ammo which doesn't go beyond the speed is out is more quieter than regular ammo. Answering your question, it's probably the .950 JDJ. It's a whooping 40$/round. Admittedly that gun is more of a joke/meme than a functional firearm, but it's way more expensive than say a .50 BMG
And yes Dave juicy does know alot about guns he has stated he know alot of guns and gun safety Honestly seeing what it do Dave upload really made my day today is my cousin 26 birthday who passed in February the week of my birthday we buried her on feb 19 the day after my birthday so your video Dave have been helping me thank you
The 700nitro elephant rifle is like $100 a round but those are like double barrel style. The guy in the brown jacket is Brandon Herrera, he has a popular gun RUclips channel. He also does content with a few other gun RUclipsrs like Demolition Ranch and Kentucky Ballistics.
Well the idea of the silencer is not to destroy your own eardrums they still loud because the mechanism make loud noise but is much better for your ears
8:37 Ehhh…they aren’t really “instructors” per say, Brandon makes AK’s and Donut was former law enforcement and now breaks down police shootings and such. They’re more or less the 8th grade students while the boys are the 6th grade students in a way.
Also, a little side note as a gun nut. It is called magazines, clips are an incorrect way to refer to magazines. Still, I get what you mean, it just can get under some peoples feathers Y’know.
I'd say 300 blackout it's a ar15 556 case where they stuff an ak bullet in it's amazing with a silencer. That or a 308 right now. Handgun bullets 500 Smith and Wesson or .50 AE what the desert eagle is chamberd in id highly recommend renting an AK-47 at a range their inexpensive to rent and a ton of fun
answering daves questions cuz why not 2:36 yes he got them right 3:47 react to some of brandons videos, youll see why 6:18 and 13:30 german mp40, used by you know, the 1940s germans specifically 7:03 mostly just old guns with ammo that isnt manufactured anymore fact about the gun at 12:54 , you can shoot the whole magazine before a single casing falls 17:00 he may have mean fuller semi auto 18:05 that is brandons mobrez, obrez is a word for a shortened gun, the m is for "a bit mo", the original gun is the mosin nagant (soviet) 19:05 the barrel is wide because the gun actually was built with a supressor in it, also one of the reasons why its quiet 19:43 the other reason why its quiet, that gun uses subsonic rounds, less gunpowder, less noise, but also less speed 23:08 not really, its a rare gun, but it fires 50bmg, which isnt nearly as rare as the gun itself 24:25 brandons gun, and its a reference to a videogame which you get a golden camo for a gun if you use it enough (idk the game) 25:25 incendiary rounds do exist, but that is dragons breath, i dont think i need to explain why 27:11 dont know the video dave mentioned but, there are people who fire barrett 50 cals from the shoulder, not fully auto though if theres anything wrong in here, just tell me in the replies

I mean you aren’t supposed to be shooting steel with the 50s so slapping a Eotech on it to dump rounds in dirt is fine lol.
Shipment grinding is just a COD reference to grinding for golden camos.

SVD Dragunov. Soviet sniper rifle. Made on…you guessed it, the AK platform of rifles.
Shipment grinding means: There is a game mode in COD Warzone 2.0 called Shipment and people play it to level up guns faster.

Brandon there is shooting a RPK. Hard to say which model however. RPK’s are basically AK’s, except they’re machine guns.

That looks like a M240 light machine gun.
The most expensive bullet I have found with a quick search is a .700 nitro express at around $114 per bullet
7:20 Most expensive to feed through a magazine?
.50AE, everything in 45, 5.7x28.

fact about the gun at 12:54 , you can shoot the whole magazine before a single casing falls

19:43 the other reason why its quiet, that gun uses subsonic rounds, less gunpowder, less noise, but also less speed

Guns with the most expensive magazines? Easy answer is those that are only proprietary and fit a gun with large and/ore expensive/rare ammo.
Another easy answer would be to say drum mags or the beta-c.
