I was so pleased with the wardrobe planning process when I took it up in 2020. I really appreciate seeing how you aggregate your ideas, and I feel like planning by OUTFIT is just so smart. It's *possible* for me to make many things, but what can I *use* is a much more helpful question. Do you have any plans for doing an end of season review to see how your inspirations worked out?
Thank you for showing the process. I had previously printed out the planner and stopped at that because I didn't know what to do next. You have shown me what I can do. I have also joined the design of your wardrobe, but at the time I had gone on vacation, I saved the videos to watch. It has inspired me to spend time and learn and create. Thanks again
I love how you used what you already own, both in terms of fabric and garments, as a starting point. I can see the value of this exercise for turning all the fabulous ideas one has into a few actionable projects.
The design your wardrobe workshop was so fun. Sharing the creative process with others just fills my heart. The creativity compounds. I think because I've been a project manager in some capacity for so many years... I just can't get into this level of planning 😅 Some things did stick though! I pair fabric with patterns in trello. When I pull fabric and it's washed and pressed, it goes on a garment rack with the pattern. My pinterest board is so well organized now with sub grouping to quickly call out the details I liked in the image. Going through the DYW process once or twice is great for discovering what works for your lifestyle. What is more important than establishing a creative process? 😉
