honestly its pretty easy to avoid if you arent sprinting full throttle through the forest and are aware of your surroundings and take your steps carefully, you can avoid fall damage a lot easier than some people would expect, at least imo, I've survived like 15-20 foot drops as a cerato mostly likely just by staying on the wall and sliding down, even without a fractured leg
It's so amazing seeing how far you've grown in such a little amount of time! You even got to 100%! I honestly couldn't be prouder, and can't wait to see where your The Isle journey takes you
@@ScottM436 yep I may say that but it's probably only like 10 minutes but it feels like hours cause I don't have that kind of time to play the Isle for.😅
Hey great content! You may know this already, but if you turn up your gamma to 2.0 in the nvidia control panel you can see much better during the night and day.. Cerato has an Alt-Click attack. It does a little extra damage and swings their head around to the side 90 degrees. A good way to play Cera is to hold right click and run away, then turn on them and bite their face when they chase. Also, if you have a smaller dino in your mouth and hold right/left click and shake your mouse it will rip the organs out, this also works with Carno and Dilo. Croc and Pachy also have strong alt attacks. It's not easy keeping a group of Ceras fed, go to east pond when you're desperate. Lastly, I would HIGHLY recommend you play Pachy next time, its one of, if not the strongest dino in the game and only takes 1.5 hours to grow. Keep it up and thanks for the hilarious gameplay (:
To add to this, as a Cera, you can alt attack in water and have the second fastest swim rate of a non semi-aquatic. When server populations are high, checking the swamp out occasionally is a good idea.
Strongest dino in the game? My friend and I just killed 5 of them as 2 dilos. A decent raptor can 1v1 them easily, and it's not beating a competent cera or a carno. So it's strong against hypsis and galis lol. I'm not saying that a good pachy player can't do damage, but against any carnivore equal to its skill level it will lose every time.
Lets gooooooo!!!! So glad to see you finally make it, and with a good story no less! Every successful life is one that you can remember, and id say thats a memory thatll stick around. Keep making videos, im really enjoying it and i hope everyone else is too. Maybe make a challenge series, get 100% with each dino? could be fun idk. Great fight with that dilo! The isle combat is hard to figure out, just try to hit people in the head, it dose more damage, body shots are good too, but tail hits dont do much but if your chasing someone of = speed you can span tail shots and itll be effective. As for mud is dose help with bleeding, it also changes what you look like and can prove to be good camouflage, but i see it as a double edged sword, good for fields/roads, but anywhere with dark colors like jungles will make you stick out, when blending in i use night vision to see how much i stick and try to play around it.
I hope you keep going with these videos, it's fun to watch you learn the game and hear your fresh takes about hiding in bushes...to have to idle for so much time does indeed sound boring as hell. I imagine watching someone stream The Isle would be so dull as half of it would be from the inside of a bush, lame. Great looking game, and apart from the constant need to lurk in the undergrowth, riveting game play too.
Hold E (or your use key) to cover yourself in mud while bleeding to make it stop instantly and start healing. While covered in mud, other dinos cannot track your footprints/scent! Really useful whenever you find it, just in case!
Great video! Btw just so you know, mixpacking is generally frowned upon by the greater part of the community, it doesn't seem like the stego helped you with any fights, but it's still better to keep the groups single species when you're a carnivore :)
1:55 that galli gave me giraffe vibes XD the vibes of a very scary giraffe that is edit: nvm that galli seemed really cool XD (havent watched the full video, just now to that point lol)
I feel like these videos would be much cooler if you didn’t end the vid 2 minutes after you became full grown. I would like to see more gameplay as Dino’s that are full grown since they reached their full potential. Have like 1/3 of the vid be the growing part and the rest you being the fun and interesting person you are while surviving, exploring, etc until you die in a battle. These are just my tips that I get from bigger The Isle creators and I hope that your channel can grow.
Waiting in bushes is a very dumb thing to do so dont worry. You can only do it if youre in a very good situation with a big source of food. Most of the time though, you should be on the move, either hunting or avoiding other players. Also sacrifising yourself was very unneeded, sou shouldve just left the area before it was too late.
Mud should have stopped your bleeding after the dilo fight, but I'm assuming you didn't hold off until the animation stopped. It takes several seconds. Or if it rains, it doesn't work. The tree lizard is a Herrera, and it's jumping off from high in the trees. That's why it was able to hit you. They do tremendous bleed. If you were anything besides a cera, you probably would have bled out since cera has a huge bleed buff. Most of all, mixing with that steg was horrible. Probably 99% of people do not like mixpacking. The devs don't like it and are trying to find a way to prevent it. It's an unfair advantage to those who mix. Now, if that Steg met you organically and you were being friendly, it is different than it's another Cera's friend. Let's say you mixed as a cera with your friend a steg. The majority of the stegs you run into will want to kill the steg, and everything else on the map will want to murder you. I've killed my own species many times only because they were mixing. It's ok if herbivores mix.
Ceratos spawn in with bleed resistance. Ceras have the highest bleed resistance of every other dino. Also, you go with one each of every diet now. It gives every bonus there is.
Nothing worse than dying to the forbidden slide
Nice to see another Isle tuber
But its fun

Mud covers ur scent and stops bleeding
Covers scent? Or covers your foot tracks? I didn’t know there was a scent feature in this game
@MerudonWoW the scent shit doesnt Work ofc just like about everything else in this awful game
Really enjoying this series so far, btw wallowing in mud stops bleeding and makes your footprints temporarily unsniffable
I can totally relate to not wanting to sit for hours to heal it is sooo boring.

if you have enough of a boost you can outswim a carno, they are slow swimmers and will usually not follow
