It was a gutpunch of sorts if you've ever played FFV...this song is feels city. The only thing I can compare it to is when a certain HW character dies.
@@leon24832 It's a remix of The Day Will Come, which is Krile's theme from FFV. It sounds like Lenna's theme cause they're both Leitmotifs from Ahead on Our Way (The FFV Main Theme).
I didnt play 5 and didn't know this was from it until like a month after EW launch. Still the most memorable theme of the expansion for me. Just captures the excitement and calm before the storm of EW so well
This song is so intriguing. It seems at first to be hopeful, cheery, and positive, but there's an underlying feeling of sadness to it... which is only magnified the further through the story of Endwalker you go. I remember towards the end of the expansion, on having to return here, I looked at my Warrior of Light and instantly cried, realizing how much sorrow he's seen and been through, but despite that, he still hangs onto hope and fights for the people of the world he loves so dearly. This song represents that moment for me.
いつの日かきっと its one of rearrange of ffv main theme that was use in aftermath of Galuf's last stand event. When you visited annex for the first-time Kururu will said name of this song too (If you play in Japanese language)
i love how at last we have a unique inn theme, i know it plays when you walk in the baldesion annex but its still a different inn theme lol, its so relaxing
It's little things like this that make a long time fan of the franchise love FF14, not only do they pay homage to the classics, but they make their own classics too. Love the reimagining of my favorite character theme in the entire franchise.
When i first dtumbled across this couple of days ago it felt like some mystical area in between ff and kh, in my head it drew many feelsgoodman memories.
i was going to comment exactly this. the backing drums and piano overlaid sound more like the Besaid theme from X-2. it has the same airy vibe that it does too.
The Ronka Ruins in Shadowbringers were also from FFV, but I get what you mean. We've had pretty sizeable references here and there but never a whole expansion dedicated to it, and I don't think we will. Be glad Krile is as important of a character as she is in FFXIV.
Don't know if you play the game or not? I just wanted to know if you do the name of the orchestrion for this piece. So I can see if I can find it in game and play it non-stop in my cottage in game ;)
I'm not sure if the name for this song has been officially revealed yet. I'll be sure to update the title if I do find it or if someone in the comments points it out.👍
This was the first EW track that really drew my attention.
Me too
this song made me change my home point from kugane to sharlayn
Me too, which is funny because this is one of the first songs in the expansion. What a great expansion and music repertoire
This song is from Final Fantasy 5. 🙂
filled with hope and an underlying theme of melancholy - best possible arrangement for the home base theme of this expac

I fucking cried hearing this, I love Final Fantasy 5 so damn much
Finally someone notice. Lenna theme

@@Forren236 So THAT'S why this song felt so familiar!
there was a bit in there that sounded like besaid island from ffx
Same
Clean sheets and warm blankets await. Rest as long as you like!
Welp, time for another playthrough of FFV.

"Enough expository banter. We shall fight like men. And ladies! And ladies who dress like men!"
Honestly, even when I'm not playing this game this is one of my go-to relaxing tracks.

This is a remix of "The Day Will Come" from FF5 which was generally only played during sad moments in the game
This song helps me to focus so much, I work and study with this! Such a great tune

I love how it's got a Chrono Cross vibe to it. Between this as the Amaro theme, someone on the sound team is a big Yasunori Mitsuda fan.
So simple, yet so elegant.
Love letter to FF V

such a good song, i love it. i just got to endwalker and i just love the music

Comfy music to come home to when the whole Star is about to end.
I really vibe with this song because of how similar it sounds to final fantasy 10-2s Besaid Island
Wish every inn room had a unique theme like the one in Old Sharlayan.
Yay! I love this theme!!!
God this song reminds me of ragnarok online. No wonder this is my favourite inn room
Theme a whole vibe I swear ❤
Parts of the music feels like Besaid from FFX-2 also.

OMG You both are right! No wonder I was so drawn to this theme!
I agree!!! I was thinking the same thing!!
I love this song!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
If Shadowbringers referenced FFIII and Endwalker referenced FFIV then I hope 7.0 references V
Did you not play stormblood? The first dungeon was FFV themed, and the first raid's last boss was Exdeath

Soken outdid himself because EW tracks are all amazing
FF5
Lenna's theme
Some of these tracks make me think of the Mother/Earthbound series and undertale, anyone else?
Love letter or Lena theme
Is there an Orchestron Roll for this track in game?
For those who do not know: ruclips.net/video/GVSipSoTQVU/видео.html
Does this have an Orchestrion Roll?
Giving Besaid
Me - I bet square wont put something fire in ew.
Ew - hold my beer
Balesion annex theme - what's up
Me - omg that's 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
