Zaria had a lot of boyfriends and her parents ain't trip about none of them but him, but on the bright side I love how they trust her to make good decision
The problem wasn't he was an ex-gang member, it was he wa still hanging with gangs and as you saw at the end of the episode, he just learned to give a second opportunity to people who wants to chance their lives for the best, just like her husband was already doing. So, in the case of TK, they were trying to help him to improve his life.
There's a different between real friends and fake friends, Ricky had fake friends, his friends didn't like the fact that Ricky changed his life, so they wasn't his real friends.
This was a good show but it could have been better at the gate of the mom or depth I just thought the characters was too perfect like they never made any mistakes it was just too much I mean The Cosby show did show up other stuff I thought The Cosby show they were actingso good it felt realistic but on this show it just feels like I'm watching a TV show not do love the way they get the black family I mean everybody is natural the mom is natural the daughters are natural no weave I love that out that's one thing I will not take from the show the way they showed the characters is beautiful usually always get the dark skin tone her lighter skin wife and they did they made his wife be melanated just like he's melanated which is beautiful
