Think that update where the Royal Guard units for european civs got reworked -- included Prussian Needle Gunners getting their rate of fire increased. The Prussian Uhlans got an extra 5% range resist.
15:01 - Prussian Needle Gunners aka. Preussische Zündnadelgewehre (it sounds pretty epic in german imo) have and had 2.75 fire rate. Regular Germany has that aswell. That has been their thing for a long time and practically makes them secret OP at attack moving into other Skirms because the Needle Gunner always shootsfirst after. If you use the whole 30+ skirm Blob to snipe 1 Target every time its reloaded, you wont really feel a difference tho.
@@dimitrisoikonomou3568 due to the design of their rifles - pulling the trigger would punch a needle into the loaded cartridge, detonating the gunpowder. The 2nd half of the 19th century had a lot of 'experimental' rifle designs mass produced due to increasingly advanced machining.

15:00 Needle Gunners has the Royal Guard tech but also get a -0.25 Rate of Fire bonus (that happens to German skirms and also their consulate unit counterpart)
I don't know if it's worth the coin... mainly for the Uhlans... I would have swapped the Uhlans for Totenkopf Hussars with the upgraded deathstrike ability. Those units are the closest to the historic background of the card (Chilean uniforms were heavily inspired by the German uniforms, the Hussars of Death had nearly identical uniforms with the Totenkopf Hussars). But isn't the Argentinian San Martin shipment much cheaper and much better?? Why?
If you look a paint of one of our national heroes, Manuel Rodríguez, you'll find that he used the same "skull and bones" pin that the Totenkopf hussars. The prussian influence in the chilean military history is undeniable. Nice vid!!
Aw man, i wanted to see the age 4 sentinels with rockets, surely worth the +45% cost that age 4 card gives, if anything its entertainement value. The flamethrower card for the fire launcher dudes is pretty cool
I'm not sure the card is worth it. You get 3,225 resources worth for a shipment that costs 2000+1600 which is an age 4 shipment. Okay they shadow tech and it spends all those resources quickly which can sometimes be an issue but I think spending on Hussars of Death would be better yeah? As for the fire rate on Needle Gunners, that's a German unique thing and true even of German age IV Skirms.
It's not worth it, with 2200 gold you could make 14 hussars, and spend the shipment on 16 revolutionaries. Argentina has a shipment that gives you 12 grenadiers plus 10 guard dragoons for only 1200 gold.
It gives you so much tempo (you don't need to build any military building), pairs perfectly with spanish gold and gives you a cover for your Hussars of death as needle gunners counter heavy inf and light cav which can kill your Hussars
TWO LIONHEART VIDEOS IN A DAY LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

@@siouxspicious2979 Why were they called Needle Gunners?

It’s kinda new, not necessarily a longtime feature. It was when the game introduced special features to Royal guard units
2.75 fire rate had been there for a long time now, since the big Royal Guard update patch
pumpin the videos out love it
2 videos today holy moly what a delicious treat
Gotta spoil the lads sometime aint I lol
2 vids on a row, we are lucky today
😘😘
Him not placing fixed guns until the enemies were already in his base and his units were all dead was unsatisfying
The 3 tower card has synergy with Wignacourt Construction, since that buffs vils near ranged buildings.

his deck name was in chinese
Nobody was expecting another aoe 3 video 😂

@@Santiagomatatrolos That is because mounted granaderos only cost food (160 if I am not mistaken), so that's why it's overall cheaper.

I feel like the card would be much better if they also replaced all Skrims with Needle Gunners.
The upgrade for germany in age 4 givec their skirms better RoF, and prussion skirms have that
are you using a call center headphone :D
