Oh wow lodeh with ketupat and peanut sauce. Batang buruk my absolute favourite snack. Very hard to find the original traditional version you are eating. The filling is made with grounded green beans with some some sugar. You are very lucky to get invited by locals to celebrate their Hari Raya open house and eating those delicious food. In Malaysia open houses are very common in all our festive seasons. Even strangers can come to our open houses.
Finally, you've met real Malaysian Malays and to celebrate their traditional celebration Hari Raya Eidil Fitri.. Glad that you enjoyed the foods and have fun with Aida's families and friends.. it's a great experience I guess.. 😊
