Congratulations on winning the Nobel prize. I knew you’d get there one day.
Hullo I have just finished Emile Zola germinal that you mentioned in a previous video . I loved it. Thankyou.
I'm reading the Taranto now. It's really engaging. I can't think of another novel I've read where a male author can so effectively create a female central character. It was a bold choice and - at least to the half way point - he's really pulling it off. Thanks for suggesting the book. I also got Monsters out of the library. I'll read that next.
Thank you for this video! I am very intrigued by the questions posed by this novel. Going to the library today to check it out!
Hope you'll like it :)
Well, Taranto's book sounds fascinating, I've been waiting for some intelligent fiction about the current culture wars to emerge, I'll check it out soon. Great review. 😂
That Tarranto book definitely sounds interesting. The cancel culture discourse has been so silly and shallow most of the time. Like influential people going on influential podcasts to say how you can't say anything anymore has never convinced me.
Haha, well said!
Why are you so cute?
