I had no idea those moves existed! But they are certainly real alright! Toxic Thread can be learned by Spinarak and Ariados and Fire Lash can ONLY be learned by Heatmor. Now it makes sense why they're so unknown since there learned by people who don't frequently use these Pokémon.

Oxman 7077 On the contrary, I hate how almost EVERY Pokémon in S&M got a signature move or ability. Signature moves and abilities are supposed to be special, so it makes sense for only a few Pokémon and legendaries to get them. It kinda loses the purpose of being special if every Pokémon has an exclusive move or ability. It's obvious that the new moves and abilities made are just to hype up new Pokémon.

I think it's a waste potential if every new gen only come with a handful of signature moves, remember how gen 5 got so much hate because most pokemon was a generic copy of the first 151 pokemon, especially with the current gen we already have over 800 pokemon, it would be so boring if gen 8 only add little diversity to the roster, don't you agree?
@Oxman 7077 I don't mind signature Z-Moves as long as the Z-Move does not all come from a signature move (with some exceptions). Example is a Golispod getting a signature Z-Move when it already has a signature move and ability (kinda over the top), but if say Hitmonlee gets a signature Z-High Jump Kick (kicking Pokémon gets a signature kicking Z-Move), then I would be fine with it because it makes certain moves feel more "special" to Pokémon that makes sense. @PH Studio I don't think gen 5's main issue is a lack of signature moves/abilities. What they should do to new gens is add new moves/abilities distributed to a lot of Pokémon and not just new Pokémon. I remember being so excited about the Corrosion ability, yet you won't see Salazzle needing to toxic a Steel type as much as other Poison-types. Or Pallosand using his ability because it would die to water moves. Sure it can be used on niche occasions, but it's better to give those abilities to Pokémon that would reliably use them instead of giving them to new Pokémon and abuse new-toy syndrome.
Without a Makuhita/Hariyama to breed with, those Pokemon can't get Smelling Salts. The origin of the move has to come from a Hariyama as a parent so it's a signature move, same with Bruxish's Psychic Fangs. Hitmonlee gets Blaze kick by level up since gen 4. It was Blaziken's signature move in gen 3 but not anymore.

Signature moves can only be learned by 1 pokemon or its lines Signagure move examples: conversion (2), psystrike, multi attack, shadowforce/spacialrent/roaroftime, sketch, spectral thief and all other moves only 1 pokemon of every pokemon in its evolutionairy line (porygon (2) (z) for example) Moves that ARRENT signature moves: bonemerang (lucario can learn it too for as far as i know), dragon tail (almost all dragontypes can learn it), and i daw some other moves thoug i cannot skip back when im trying to write somethibg whit my phone Thoug still good to see all the moves on a row since it does bring ideas and inspiration 😃
Drax The Dum not in gen 7. Those are HM moves, so unless you transfer the Pokémon from a previous generation, most Pokémon can't get cut or strength in Sun and Moon.
The thing with Toucannons Beak Blast is that it burns anyone who hits it with a physical move as well! Felt a big part of the move was left out~ Otherwise great one! :D

I think perhaps you're not listening. The move is events only. In other words, the uploader had the wrong move for Victini. They should have had Searing Shot.

Breeding is not taken into account when determining what is a signature move. If it were, the following moves would not be signature moves: Octazooka (Horsea) Present (A whole bunch of 'mons) Smelling Salts (A whole bunch of 'mons) Secret Power (A whole bunch of 'mons, though only Togepi can get it without transfer) Tail Slap (Vulpix, Buizel) Electroweb (Spinarak, Grubbin) Throat Chop (Sneasel) Psychic Fangs (Carvanha, Lillipup) Technically speaking, only Chatter and Sketch are signature moves, as all other moves can be learned by Smeargle through Sketch.
should also point out the Hyperspace Fury and Dark Void, while sketchable, will fail if Smeargle (or any pokemon that gets those moves via hacking) attempted to use it.
Ok guys he included every move that is only learned by one evolution line per LEVELUP. Thats why cut is a signature move cause only kartana gets it per levelup whereas for example sacred fire is not because hooh and entei get it both per levelup
Greninja Lets Play leafage was introduced in the game because the 3 basic moves for fire water and grass were ember, bubble and absorb but since absorb was too weak they put it the game. So from now on every new generation starter will have leafage instead of absorb.
You forgot Ho-oh's Sacred Fire, Regigigas' Giga Impact, Manaphy's Heart Swap, Chesnaught's Spiky Shield, Delphox's Mystical Fire, and Greninja's Water Shuriken. No idea why you included so many that weren't signature (Strength, really?) but it was an interesting video nonetheless
CopperTalon Entei got Sacred Fire in Gen 6, Giga Impact was a TM and now it still is, Magearna got Heart Swap. Cacturne, Maractus, and Togedemaru got Spiky Shield. Mismagius got Mystical Fire, and Accelgor got Water Shuriken. Those ARE signature moves because they're the only one that can learn it through level up. If you want other Pokémon to have Strength, Secret Power, or Cut...You need to send them through the Pokémon Bank

I think perhaps you're not listening. The move is events only. In other words, the uploader had the wrong move for Victini. They should have had Searing Shot.

Technically speaking, only Chatter and Sketch are signature moves, as all other moves can be learned by Smeargle through Sketch.

Ok guys he included every move that is only learned by one evolution line per LEVELUP. Thats why cut is a signature move cause only kartana gets it per levelup whereas for example sacred fire is not because hooh and entei get it both per levelup

CopperTalon Entei got Sacred Fire in Gen 6, Giga Impact was a TM and now it still is, Magearna got Heart Swap. Cacturne, Maractus, and Togedemaru got Spiky Shield. Mismagius got Mystical Fire, and Accelgor got Water Shuriken. Those ARE signature moves because they're the only one that can learn it through level up. If you want other Pokémon to have Strength, Secret Power, or Cut...You need to send them through the Pokémon Bank
