"Blood Oath song is about how the old prey upon the young. when i was around 15 a man 10 years older than me got me blackout drunk and then took advantage of me. i was a child and blamed myself. i ended up in a toxic relationship with him years later. a relationship that lasted into my twenties and nearly destroyed me. i cant undo the mistakes i made that led me to that place. but i can warn my young listeners that predators will be waiting for you in your weakest times. they will take everything from you just to get what they want." - Alice Glass
