FUN, MY NIECE AND NEPHEW AND THEIR DAUGHTERS AND HUSBANDS ...and THEIR FIRST GRANDSON! ARE ALL GETTING MATCHING SLIPPERS FOR CHRISTMAS. THANK YOU FOR THE PATTERN.
These slippers bring back great memories. When we were growing up, my mother made a sock monkey for each of us kids. At least one of my sisters and myself still have our monkeys about 60 years later. I just love the socks and can't wait to make them.
Quick and easy! I love that you can do the top as a slipper, an ankle sock or heck even a knee sock if you want, plus you can leave them plain or spice them up to your own liking, Thanks for this quick and easy gift! Just what I needed to make for so many of my family members.
Oh my goodness this crochet slippers pattern is so amazing. I'm new to Crocheting slippers. Cause I'm a Crochet blanket maker. I've tried so many patterns for making slippers. It never turned out right. You explained everything so perfect. I can't wait to make some pairs tomorrow. Thanks again .The pattern It seems so easy. WOW
I have made a pair of these for each person in my family. The instruction is easy to follow and at a comfortable pace. Thank you for the awesome tutorial!!
Great pattern & perfect now that it's winter for Aussies!👍 I've just about completed my youngest son's pair of slippers & have yarn queued up for the rest of the family who all now wants some too!🥰 Blessings from South Australia💕🐨
The “foot” you used for demonstration purposes absolutely cracked me up. But it was perfect. So cute. Love those adorable socks. Thank you for taking time to make an instructional video. 🥳
Pamela, I just made a pair in Christmas color yarn. Thank you for these adorable and easy slippers to make. I will be making more in many different colors.💜🙏🧶
Hi Pamela 👋🏼 I know you posted this last year in Nov. However, I wanted to thank you 💕. My youngest granddaughter’s 3rd bday is in November so I took her to the store so she could pick 3 colors. They turned out gorgeous! Everyday she asks me “Nana, is it done?” Lol 😂 Thanks sooo much! Pretty sure all my grand’s are getting these for Christmas too.
I know I comment already but I already made 3 pairs of this socks, one for me I’m a size 8 so I used the size large on the chart, for my 6 year old daughter I used the kids size, and for my 7 year old son I used the medium size because his feet are a little bit big, they all fit perfect!! And I’m working on my 12 year old daughters pair and I’m doing a size large for her. If u find the top part of the ribbing gets too loose and don’t stay on your ankle as close as u would like it to, I crochet either 80 or 90 chains depends on how long u want it and I went through the top of the sock and did a drawstring so u could tie it and give me a more snug fit. I love it it looks great but whatever u like. I have to say this is one of the easiest crochet sock I ever did. And I love the patter how I can mix and match color!! Thank you Pamela!!
I am so glad that you are enjoying this pattern! And thank you so much for that tip. if you don’t mind would it be OK if I include that tip in some of my future videos?
@Pamela’s Adoring Crochet of course!! I don’t mind at all!! ❤️❤️ ur sock pattern is my go to from now on. I finished my daughters pair of socks she asked me to put small tassels on the end of the drawstring it looked cute!! 😊😊
Hello these are so cute! I can’t get the front post back post row to turn out according to your stitch count for the larger sizes. Has anyone modified this? Seems like it would always have to be an even number.
You can make it even just by adding another stitch. My pattern is a pattern to make basic slippers and you can totally modify for yourself. I do that all the time. Hope that helps.
These are cool. I am going to try and make some. What if you want to make a pair for a men's 13 shoe size? What sock size is that? And what about for babies under a year?
For larger, just add a few more rows on the tube part and the heel part and a few more stitches for the cuff. As far as babies I have a baby booties tutorial.
I would say the XL. You also need to try it on as you make it so that you make enough rows. That is what I do because yarns and tensions are always different.
It's really cute but I don't like the way things look when u work into rounds I prefer slipstiching to join can I do this with this pattern ? I have never liked crochet into rounds don't like the look of a zig zag finish im just asking if I can do this by slip sticking into each round and I always mess it up doing it that way 🤨

Hi Pamela, QUESTION - I wear size 10 shoes so which size slipper would I make? Love your video & how your slipper turned out.
I would say the XL. You also need to try it on as you make it so that you make enough rows. That is what I do because yarns and tensions are always different.
It's really cute but I don't like the way things look when u work into rounds I prefer slipstiching to join can I do this with this pattern ?
